After speaking with two construction loan specialist brokers, paying upfront fees and spending 2 to 3 months going back and forth with more information and documents, I wanted to postpone the whole project. I asked my neighbour, who was also building, who he used and he gave me Chris’ number.3.5 weeks later we had unconditional approval for our construction loan at a lower rate than either of the “specialists” quoted. I even offered to pay Chris an upfront fee like I had with the others, and he said no.He’s a very good man. He says he’s not a construction specialist, but honestly he’s better than that. Very humble, professional, and knows exactly what he’s doing with precision. Save yourself some sleep and grey hairs!
