I coach a scholastic shotgun shooting team and I am always adjusting a shotgun for one of my team shooters. It seems like it is in some kind of gravel parking lot without much light and I always seem to drop a small screw or something that unless I am really lucky I never seem to find. This Tail Gunner Mat actually has a nice magnetic that is sewn inside the two layers of the mat where you can’t even see it but if you put anything metal on it you won’t lose it.It easily attaches to the inside of your tailgate and you can even close the tailgate with it attached. This provides a nice heavy duty fabric that is perfect for working on high dollar guns without scratching them. This may has some great pockets that you can put tools, choke tubes, cleaning supplies and other shooting items in. These pockets are roomy and have heavy duty zippers to make sure nothing falls out. It really makes a great place to lay your guns to clean or work on.I have been an active shooter and coach for 50 years and I have never seen anything like this.They are made in America in a small shop and the quality of these is second to none. They are made by shooters for shooters.I never go to a shoot or a practice without mine. Having the tools and cleaning equipment in one place has made my life a lot easier. It is so wonderful to not always be looking for a lost screw or small part that has been dropped or pushed aside.I would recommend one of these Tail Gunner mats to any serious shooter.

My 2 sons shoot competitive clays. I hated laying their nice guns on my tailgate for fear they would get scratched. Came across this product and decided to give it a try, and I've been very happy with it. No more worrying about where to lay their guns when assembling/disassembling them, and the pockets are especially handy for organizing tools, chokes, etc. When the competition is over, I can just close my tailgate and the pad stays in place. Such a great product.

This is the best product for all clay shooters and hunters! I hate setting up my gun on a truck bed because I get dents and scratches! This product is the perfect fix!
