We had extensive damage in the utility room due to breakage of an overhead pipe. Daniel Vargas was assigned our repair by insurance. He tackled the removal of damaged materials, replaced all, painted. He did so in a very timely manner, and his work was professional. He’s the total craftsman. He was faithfully on the job every day until the finish. Final charge was exactly the figure we agreed to beforehand. We’d have him back in a moment’s notice should a future event occur. He’s a rating of 10 on 10-point scale.

I was attempting to paint and contract some minor renovation on a townhouse my wife & I had to sell.  We used a realtor who specialized in selling properties in need of rehab.  We decided against using her contractors in favor of “City on a Hill.”  The primary motivating factor was observing Daniel (owner) faithfully serving at my church at such a high level of integrity.I originally was planning to do the painting myself, but he pointed out that my choice of paints would result in having to repaint with the correct type of paint.  It would have saved me hundreds of dollars not to mention the waste of time.  However, I decided to have him do the whole thing.It turned out to be the correct decision:  he completed the job (painting the entire interior & some external areas, replacing rotten wood, and refinishing all the bathrooms and kitchen cabinets) at a price below the realtor’s preferred contractors.  The quality of work was a major factor in the townhouse selling in less than a month.Do yourself a favor and utilize “City On A Hill” for all your painting/rehab needs!  Besides the very reasonable pricing, you’ll have priceless peace of mind.
