We had such a great time on the dryland dogsled tour with Rohn and would highly recommend anyone visiting the area to check it out!! Rohn is knowledgeable, kind, and really cares about the dogs and his work with them. He answered all our questions - we learned so much! We were both glad to have worn older clothes - the dogs were very friendly and we got a bit muddy as we let them jump up on us and play.

This is the real deal! It’s not the ‘Disneyland’ sanitized tour! We learned so much about the sport of mushing, the preparation and commitment to training and caring for the dogs. And the dogs are loved and well cared for. Rohn knows every dog’s name and loves on them like house dogs.We got to meet and pet all the dogs and got to romp with the new puppies! We were in Alaska for two weeks and this was the highlight of our vacation! AAA+++ 5 star rating! A must do!

This was a great excursion! Got to see and hang with a sled dog team.....went for great walk and also was able to inside the kennel and meet every dog (66 dogs)....we'll worth the money and we enjoyed every minute.

The Busers offer such a wonderful tour! Rohn explains all aspects of running dogs and is happy to answer question! We are repeat clients and it is such a great experience! Highly recommend!

Rohn and Alyssa at Susitna Sled Dog Adventures provide an incredible, truly Alaskan experience! After a brief introduction, a team of dogs pulled us through the woods on a wheeled side by side on a fairly long ride, so we could have a taste of what it’s like be behind a dog team, hearing the different commands and seeing how they work together . After our run, we got to pet and play with all of the dogs and then went play with the puppies (they have 70 dogs in total)! My 84 year old mother was able to participate in all of it and was laughing the smiling the whole time. We also got to hear about Rohn’s experiences with the Iditarod race and other races, how they train and care for the dogs (daily and during race times). The dogs were friendly and obviously well-loved and cared for. I think kids would love this experience too.

Earlier this summer, my family had a great experience with Rohn and the dogs (and the puppies!) He really took time to talk with us and help us understand the dogs, the race, and the culture around both. They also seemed to really love and take care of the animals... which was nice to see.
