I’ve had a really great experience with the Alloy team! Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and nice.I’m completely new to working out, and the coaches have been very patient and encouraging. They take the time to explain every exercise clearly and make sure I understand the proper form, which makes me feel much more comfortable and confident.I also really like that Alloy is a great fit for people at any fitness level. Whether you’re just getting started or already have experience, the coaches can adjust the workouts based on your goals and needs.Such a positive and supportive environment. Highly recommend Alloy Personal Training!

Alloy Rossmoor has great trainers who really know how to support and guide us with proper form, technique, mindful movement, and modifications when needed. The environment is supportive, fun, and friendly. After almost a year with Alloy, I feel stronger and fitter. I know Alloy's method works without punishing or being hard on our bodies. I look forward to every session!

I realized that working with a trainer made every hour much more productive. But I didn't need one-on-one. That's where Alloy is perfect. Classes of 6 mean you get all the attention you need. The other thing is, since they work with older people (like me) they will adjust any exercise so existing injuries are not an issue. Finally, they seem to do a good job hiring people who get the audience. Everyone is very positive but also absolutely understands we are not aiming for the Mr. Olympia contest. I have worked with everyone and would be hard pressed to have a favorite.

Great trainers, clean facility. Trainers adapt the exercises to align with the abilities of participants. Individual attention insures successful workouts.

I've been working out since February of 2025 steadily about 2-3 times a week. The coaching has been great. My bad habits & poor form have been corrected so I get much better results from working out. I've lost 20 pounds. I feel much stronger and have actual muscle definition in my arms & legs. The small classes really work for me. The instruction is really clear. Modifications are always available. This is the first gym I've ever joined and it's a great experience

Love coming here. Great small group training and the exercises are always different and sometimes creative!

I love my class. The exercises are perfect for me. Our instructor Zander watches us to make sure we are doing the exercises correctly. He is positive and motivating. I highly recommend my class.

I absolutely love this place! I didn’t think I was going to like weight/trx training, but the community and support here are excellent. All of the trainers, Zander, Clarice, Mystic and Tracy, are wonderful! They are very knowledgeable about modifications for different bodies and for injuries. They make working out challenging and fun!

Zander always helps customize the exercises to my abilities without making me feel bad.

Great training with great instructors. Small groups insures individualized instruction. Comfortable setting. Highly recommended!

Strength training. I am 76 and have been losing muscle and strength for quite some time. Working with Clarice at Alloy for just a few weeks has already helped me get stronger for practical, every day activities. OK You can choose I don’t know the one that looks like a snake. OK is there one that’s kind of orange I’m looking at the snake bodies that you’re holding.

I have had such a great experience at Alloy Personal Fitness and I highly recommend them! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the positive, motivating atmosphere that makes you actually look forward to working out.The trainers here are absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping you reach your goals. They take the time to understand your needs and always offer guidance, encouragement, and adjustments that make a real difference. I recently completed my 200th session and it’s because of the trainers that I look forward to showing up. I am stronger, have much better balance and feel as healthy as I ever have. The other thing I really enjoy is the sense of community. The other clients are friendly, respectful and supportive, which creates an environment where everyone feels comfortable, no matter their fitness level. I have made some real friends here and I love that we all encourage each other every session.Joining Alloy has been one of the best decisions I ever made!

I’ve been training at Alloy on Tice Valley Road for six months, and the results have been transformational. At 62, after losing significant muscle from several years of low activity, I wasn’t starting from a strong place—and I didn’t enjoy working out. That’s changed. I now enjoy going so much that I added an additional workout each week. The biggest difference is in everyday function: I can get up off the ground and out of my low car without using my hands, squat to a 14" bench with control, do lunges with my back knee touching the ground.Increased leg strength has also allowed me to walk/hike farther, faster, and on steeper hills with less fatigue. Before, walking the Lafayette Reservoir took an hour and left me tired. Now it takes me about 45 minutes and sometimes I do it twice. I'm also hiking 6 to 8 miles on the steep hills of the Lafayette Ridge trail with a 22 minute/mile pace. I'm thrilled! The trainers are consistently helpful and supportive, creating an encouraging environment to work in. The small group format allows them to closely monitor form and offer thoughtful modifications when needed, including for injuries.Thank you Alloy!

Very friendly staff who guides you through each circuit at your own pace.

Great trainers who help you with your form and modifications to the workout, if necessary. Small class size a plus.

I have been going to Alloy since September and absolutely love it. The trainers pay exceptionally close attention to our progress, and know where and how to push us to reach the next level of strength. Both my mind and body are much happier since I started going to Alloy. S/O to Mystic for early morning training!

I joined Alloy a few months ago and it has been amazing. The trainers are so supportive and skilled and working out in a small group setting with other folks over 40 is great! The trainers are always offering tips to modify the exercises so no matter what level of fitness you are at, you can do it! I’ve already noticed I’m getting stronger.

Love the gym, the workout is varied, modifications available from excellent trainers, appointment based works for me!

I love working out at Alloy in Walnut Creek! The classes consist of a maximum of six people per class and we rotate around and do six stations. Every day the exercises change, but they are all great strength building workouts. The trainers are amazing, and really goods about working with you if you have any injuries or weaknesses that you were dealing with. They always find other options for you to work out the muscles that are being targeted that day. Highly recommend you visit Alloy!

I have enjoyed going to Alloy Fitness for the last 6 months. The staff is very friendly and the trainers are excellent. I like the small personalized classes and that the weights are all set up for me in advance. Each day we do sets of different exercises, so it never gets old. The trainers are always able to modify for injuries and know how to tweak any movement to be more beneficial. I am happily sore every week. I feel much better since going to Alloy.

Great workouts and awesome staff! Love this place!

Simply put, a great experience! My wife and I have been members for 6 months and have greatly benefitted from the personalized workouts. The small group lessons work out well and I love the variety of different workouts. But what really makes this place special are the trainers. We primarily work out with Zander who is amazing! Clarice and Sherrae are also amazing!

I can not say enough positive things about Alloy! I am enjoying the workouts and feel like I am finally doing something proactive for my health. The trainers are excellent and adapt the workouts to fit your needs and or capabilities. Given I am on the older side of life 🤣 it really helps me feel successful. It’s a warm up, workout and cool down. An hour well spent!

2025-06-17T19:10:30.345Z

Great staff! Love their flexibility to fit our needs. Small groups is such a plus!

2025-04-03T17:26:32.975Z

Alloy has a smart approach. Each workout is six exercises - and they are always different. Zander is an effective, attentive trainer. The equipment is modern, the approach is adaptable, and the vibe is friendly. Clients range from new to workouts to veterans. Recommended.

Waited to post til I had done 3 sessions - great consistent coaching and support. I would not do weight training without someone to check form and the small group concept is excellent for that at a price that is significantly less than private coaching. Also love that it's whole body, including core and balance.
