Alloy Rossmoor has great trainers who really know how to support and guide us with proper form, technique, mindful movement, and modifications when needed. The environment is supportive, fun, and friendly. After almost a year with Alloy, I feel stronger and fitter. I know Alloy's method works without punishing or being hard on our bodies. I look forward to every session!

I realized that working with a trainer made every hour much more productive. But I didn't need one-on-one. That's where Alloy is perfect. Classes of 6 mean you get all the attention you need. The other thing is, since they work with older people (like me) they will adjust any exercise so existing injuries are not an issue. Finally, they seem to do a good job hiring people who get the audience. Everyone is very positive but also absolutely understands we are not aiming for the Mr. Olympia contest. I have worked with everyone and would be hard pressed to have a favorite.

I've been working out since February of 2025 steadily about 2-3 times a week. The coaching has been great. My bad habits & poor form have been corrected so I get much better results from working out. I've lost 20 pounds. I feel much stronger and have actual muscle definition in my arms & legs. The small classes really work for me. The instruction is really clear. Modifications are always available. This is the first gym I've ever joined and it's a great experience

I absolutely love this place! I didn’t think I was going to like weight/trx training, but the community and support here are excellent. All of the trainers, Zander, Clarice, Mystic and Tracy, are wonderful! They are very knowledgeable about modifications for different bodies and for injuries. They make working out challenging and fun!

Strength training. I am 76 and have been losing muscle and strength for quite some time. Working with Clarice at Alloy for just a few weeks has already helped me get stronger for practical, every day activities. OK You can choose I don’t know the one that looks like a snake. OK is there one that’s kind of orange I’m looking at the snake bodies that you’re holding.

I’ve been training at Alloy on Tice Valley Road for six months, and the results have been transformational.At 62, after losing significant muscle from several years of low activity, I wasn’t starting from a strong place—and I didn’t enjoy working out. That’s changed. I now enjoy going so much that I added an additional workout each week.The biggest difference is in everyday function: I can get up off the ground and out of my low car without using my hands, squat to a 14" bench with control, do lunges with my back knee touching the ground.Increased leg strength has also allowed me to walk/hike farther, faster, and on steeper hills with less fatigue. Before, walking the Lafayette Reservoir took an hour and left me tired. Now it takes me about 45 minutes and sometimes I do it twice. I'm also hiking 6 to 8 miles on the steep hills of the Lafayette Ridge trail with a 22 minute/mile pace. I'm thrilled!The trainers are consistently helpful and supportive, creating an encouraging environment to work in. The small group format allows them to closely monitor form and offer thoughtful modifications when needed, including for injuries.Thank you Alloy!

I joined Alloy a few months ago and it has been amazing. The trainers are so supportive and skilled and working out in a small group setting with other folks over 40 is great! The trainers are always offering tips to modify the exercises so no matter what level of fitness you are at, you can do it! I’ve already noticed I’m getting stronger.

I love working out at Alloy in Walnut Creek! The classes consist of a maximum of six people per class and we rotate around and do six stations. Every day the exercises change, but they are all great strength building workouts. The trainers are amazing, and really goods about working with you if you have any injuries or weaknesses that you were dealing with. They always find other options for you to work out the muscles that are being targeted that day. Highly recommend you visit Alloy!

I have enjoyed going to Alloy Fitness for the last 6 months. The staff is very friendly and the trainers are excellent. I like the small personalized classes and that the weights are all set up for me in advance. Each day we do sets of different exercises, so it never gets old. The trainers are always able to modify for injuries and know how to tweak any movement to be more beneficial. I am happily sore every week. I feel much better since going to Alloy.

Simply put, a great experience! My wife and I have been members for 6 months and have greatly benefitted from the personalized workouts. The small group lessons work out well and I love the variety of different workouts. But what really makes this place special are the trainers. We primarily work out with Zander who is amazing! Clarice and Sherrae are also amazing!

I can not say enough positive things about Alloy! I am enjoying the workouts and feel like I am finally doing something proactive for my health. The trainers are excellent and adapt the workouts to fit your needs and or capabilities. Given I am on the older side of life 🤣 it really helps me feel successful. Waited to post til I had done 3 sessions - great consistent coaching and support. I would not do weight training without someone to check form and the small group concept is excellent for that at a price that is significantly less than private coaching. Also love that it's whole body, including core and balance.
