We hired Terrance to remove an existing railroad tie retaining wall and replace it with a stone wall. We thought his estimate offered a good price and timeline. We quickly ran into communication and expectation issues; we repeatedly had to reach out to ask when he would continue work on the wall. He did acknowledge these communication problems and then made an effort to be consistently in touch. While Terrance is a nice guy, the finished wall was less than expected. Specifically, some stones were left uncapped, the ends of the drain pipe are open and visible, the wall was not fully backfilled, and it is not parallel with the driveway. He filled the space between wall and driveway with cheap gravel, which was sparsely and unevenly applied. He also left the space between the sidewalk and wall unfilled and did not reseed the grass median between the sidewalk and street. While his lawnmowing services might be good, we wouldn't recommend him for building a block wall.

Mitchell, from Line It Up Striping, was such a professional! We hired him to paint parking stripes and numbers onto our new Asphalt parking area. He measured all of it meticulously! (He went into detail measuring and REmeasuring….to get it “just right”!)His work has made our new space quite stunning and sharp looking!Plus, as a bonus, he was so very helpful and kind. We changed a few things a long the way….and he guided us through it all. He has a great eye for detail, which I really appreciated.He was prompt in every form of communication……which we appreciated as well! Even though I haven’t personally hired him for a project, he’s been extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and willing to share advice and guidance. So many positive experiences we had with Central Iowa Striping during our interaction with them. We had called and left a message, and Lou responded with a call back very shortly after I had initially called in. I explained our situation and what we were looking for, and he immediately told me what we needed was right up his alley of what his company did. He actually explained that he had an opening the following day and could get me in right away. He made sure to ask all of the right questions to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted, and had the work completed perfectly about 24 hours after our initial call. His communication was amazing. His attention to detail was great, and I knew I was in good hands with Lou and his company right from the start.
