Got a letter from my HOA about some chipped stucco. Cuddly Coats Painting was my third and best quote. Not only were they priced the best, I trusted was I was told. And did they deliver. Perfect paint match, stucco looks great, and they even left the paint for me to do my own touch ups. Would highly recommend.

I first met John and Preston a uear ago when the Evil HOA gave me notice to paint my Sun faded exterior of my house. John came out that day and gave me an estimate to do the work. I asked him if he could give me one to do the entire interior as well, he obliged and drew one up that day. The estimate was lowet than the other one that I had received from a competitor. I went with Cuddly Coats.They came out within the week to start the exterior and finished within a few days. I am still receiving compliments on their work.As I was remodeling the house we ran into a few setbacks with the flooring and water damage in one of the bathrooms, this postponed the painting of the interior until almost a year later. John and Preston were very accommodating and even a year later they kept to the original quote. They even provided a paint specialist who came out and sat down with my wife to go over paint and color options for the house.This past week they finished the interior (working around all of our possessions), their team took care to cover and mask off everything so as not to damage anything. They even took down (and remounted) a 300 lbs 10' x 5' mirror on our landing.These guys went above and beyond the call of duty.I have and will continue to recommend Cuddly Coats to anyone who needs painting done.

I contacted the to come do an IN-HOME estimate which by all accounts would me the estimator would actually walk through the home and look at the project. The estimator was professional and represented very well. I explained I was looking for all one color including trim and ceiling for a 4000sq ft home. In the first few minutes I asked him about the chain of events considering I will be replacing all the floors as well and he looked at me like I was crazy. He explained that this company does not work like that and when I explained there would be non need to tarp the floors and save them additional cost and supplies he disagreed and I understood that. Still standing in my kitchen (yet to look once at the house) he asked me if I had a water treatment system in my new house when I informed him that the house has one he still went on saying he also worked for Culligan. He then advised me not to drink the tap water in Las Vegas to which I replied “I use the ice that comes from the water” to which he then informed me that the water was unsafe in Las Vegas and that it contained birth control and arsenic and other harmful chemicals that in his words “could kill a person”. Needless to say I learning how with a passing “well I am alive as of now”. Still standing in the kitchen he told me he was ready to send the estimate (still never walking the property” I said you have not even seen the house yet and then I understood that he was going off the square footage that was listed online. I have ZERO PROBLEM with that but what was the need to come out in the first place. I disagreed with the approximate sq footage and he then challenged me, we were talking a difference of 200 sq feet which is peanuts when talking about the size and cost of my home. I said just bid it for that you think and he still wanted to argue with me and even went into the Clark county assessor to prove me wrong. When I again said I don’t care about 200 sq feet he went on to explain the quote and I really felt like he was talking to me as if I was uninformed. When I told him i did not need an explanation seeing as how I had built several homes before moving to Las Vegas he then told me he used to be a general contractor. Let me say it did not end well and I was very disappointed not to mention the bid although fair and very close to the others I had gotten did not include a lot of the things every other painter had factored into their bids. When I tell people I moved to Las Vegas and they ask me how I like it I tell them the thing that is wonderful is all the fantastic customer service that surrounds the Las Vegas area, I did not feel that today. I am sorry that it did not work out but I really want a partner to work on my home that I feel enjoys the relationship from start to finish and this was not a good start.
