I am grateful knowing my children are in the care of humans! People who may not be perfect because God knows my kids can be a handful.Prior to Magic Moments, our children were enrolled in Celebree, where they documented things like running, jumping chairs, etc on an injury form. As a man of color, I understand the school to prison pipeline starts with documentation, profiling, and bias.Our family refuses to rule with the belt. Instead we believe children should be granted a chance to develop before being expected to perform like adults!! They have grown into little people at Magic Moments.

My daughter is now 3 and will be 4 in about 3 months. She has been at Magic Moments since she was 11 months. At just 11 months, Magic Moments was our 3rd stop for childcare because i am particular about where and who i leave my child with. All of this time later she is still at Magic Moments, thriving academically and socially, and feels a part of a family. I am happy with my choice for childcare and highly recommend Magic Moments. The staff are kind and seek to build relationship with parents which is great. Also, the director is timely in communication and all pertinent information is shared timely and professionally. One of the best referrals I have ever received! My son has been attending Magic Moments since age 3 (he is now 6). As a first time mom, a neighbor shared this establishment with me with high confidence. This was my son's first time attending a daycare and like many children, he was not ready for the transition. The staff immediately provided the attention and care to ensure he was comfortable; even sending me photo updates of his daily activities and behavior. To this day, he loves going to the daycare (before and after care) to play with his friends and to participate in the the teacher's activities. As a parent, I am pleased with the staff and the overall environment (clean, safe, and welcoming). Not to mention, they are affordable and are willing to accommodate you! My son been attending for about a month now. I was a little nervous at first because I did send him to GODDARD and was not impressed. But Rosedale magic moments made it very easy to adjust as First time mom. The ladies are very warm with the children and also big on milestones. My son cried maybe the first week and was running to them the second! That’s a BIG PLUS to me. Only thing I don’t like is the communication. THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE AT ALLLL! I would like updated photos like other schools do throughout the day and I was calling two years straight and end up reaching them via Facebook. But the staff is AWSOME thank you for taking care our babies💕

Magic Moments is a safe and fun learning environment for young children. They work with the students and parents to ensure that your child is receiving the best care and learning experience for their age group. I really appreciate that the teachers at magic moments work with each child and provide feedback daily. Mr. Jonathan the center’s Director is great at communicating with parents and in my experience has always been willing to make adjustments and accommodations where needed. My girls started at the Towson location and were there for about 3 years bc it was closer to my work. Nothing but greatness, caring and amazing teaching from the staff. My children have learned so much there. Both The outside play areas are very spacious. I recently switched to the Rosedale location bc my older child has started school. They pick her up and drop her off from school every day. My other child is in the PreK room. The outside play area is bigger than it looks. The staff and learning environment is wonderful as well. Both of my girls started reading by the time they were 4. Rosedale opens at 6, which is great for us. I have never had to wait for someone to be there. One last thing- in the 4.5 years I have been taking my girls here; it has only closed twice bc of weather. This is a huge plus for me bc I work in a hospital and they never close. There have been delayed openings, but trying to organize someone to take care of your children at 5am is not easy. Thank you Magic Moments for all the love and learning the past few years!Update 12/2019My kids are out of the actual daycare portion. However I take them there before before and aftercare. They take them to school and pick my girls up every day. Ms Spencer the aftercare teacher is fabulous. Her class is very structured. Not a lot after after school craziness. Another thing that makes this place great for us as I mentioned before- they hardly ever close. This is another great option for us bc of how often Baltimore county schools closes in the winter. The girls can go there for the day and I don’t have to worry about finding someone to watch them. Thank you again for being there for our family magic moments!

Lisa is the director of Magic Moment Daycare Center in Maryland. Both Derrick and Arthur attended the center during their early learning and middle school. Lisa took a chance on Derrick after he volunteered one summer and she hired him. We could certainly tell Derrick’s growth and maturity from his work experience. He gained leadership and teaching skills and served as role model for your youths while working there. I would often get calls from parents for Derrick to tutor and watch their children on the weekends because of the skills he learned at work and the relationships he developed. More businesses need to pour into our children like this! Magic Moments is a great model for our community because they teach the kids through middle and then hire some of her students back to work. While working at the center, the students develop leadership skills and role model for the younger students. Lisa has not just done this with Derrick but other children who attended her daycare center. I did not know Lisa before Derrick attended Magic Moments but we have developed a friendship over the years and today I celebrate our friendship and a great business! #magicmomentsdaycarecenter

My wife and I had a wonderful experience sending our son to Magic Moments. The staff is great and our son was always doing something new in the infant and toddler rooms.
