Some girlfriends and I stayed at the Barn in Star, ID for a staycation and it was the PERFECT vibe for a girls weekend/sleepover! Having the 2 stories was nice because we could use the bathroom/get ready and hang out on the couch downstairs without waking others up. Everything was unbelievably clean and felt very new. With the way they positioned the windows, it feels like you're smack dab in the middle of the forest. It's also nice that it's right on the outskirts of a super nice neighborhood so it felt really safe. The only thing I would note is that there are no blinds/curtains on the big windows in the loft, which isn't necessarily a privacy issue since it faces the woods and is covered by trees, but it was a little bright in the mornings, so if you have a sleep mask you might want to bring it! The kitchen was super clean and well stocked and the beds were nice, I shared one of the bunks with a friend one of the nights and there was plenty of room for both of us!Also, they have a whole portal with video tutorials on how to use all the amenities so we never had any issues during the stay. HIGHLY recommend staying with Carefree Bnb!
