I’m honestly not even a cookie person, but these are hands down the BEST cookies I’ve ever had! 🍪💕 I’m originally from Europe, and since moving to the US, I have to admit that most American sweets just don’t really do it for me — but these are on a completely different level. Absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back from time to time to try all the new flavors. The owner is also the sweetest and so incredibly kind, which makes the whole experience even better. 100% recommend! 💕I also LOVE that they are gluten-free. My mom has celiac disease, and it can be so hard to find gluten-free baked goods that actually taste amazing. When she comes to visit me, I’m 100% bringing her here!

My best friend and I stopped by unintentionally and so glad we did! I tried the cookies n creme cookie and it was gone before we made it to the pier. Definitely the best gf/vegan cookie we have ever had :) workers were super friendly too!

My family was so glad to find this place in the quaint town of Southport. We loved to find out they served vegan cookies! The service was super friendly and welcoming. The cookies are very large and taste delicious. My favorite was the cranberry white chocolate chip.

It’s a good thing I don’t live close to this place! We got a couple of their cookies to try and they were sooooo delicious. As a celiac it’s always a bummer not to be able to participate in most baked goods and dessert spots- but we’re safe here!! Definitely worth a try, gluten free or not!

I have been dying to try Southport Cookies and finally made it down to SPT on Sunday. We did not realize they closed at 3 and were sad to find they had already closed when we arrived at 3:30. My friend was peeking in the window and the owner popped her head out. She was so kind to open the door for us and let us choose some cookies! Our group got some misfits (these were absolutely delicious and could have been sold as regular cookies!), SS Southports, and Oreo with buttercream frosting on top. Everything was to die for and we will surely be back! Thank you for allowing us to shop after you had already closed and were cleaning up for the day. It is such a treat to be able to eat such decadent cookies with all of our food allergies, especially for our young kiddos who can't have dairy or gluten. Treats like these make them feel like they are not missing out!

Saw this shop on a whim while exploring Southport but didn’t have to time to stop. I made a point the next day to go back (from Oak Island) and got two chocolate chip cookies. Holy cow, they are delicious. A nearly perfect cookie. My only gripe is they’re vegan and gluten free and I wish my nut allergic husband could eat there safely!

Absolutely the best cookies! The cookies melt in your mouth. The double chocolate peanut butter cookies are delicious. The size of the cookies makes them perfect for sharing. So worth the price for the freshness. I’m not vegan and I can eat gluten but I choose to eat these cookies because they are amazing!

These cookies were DYNAMITE. Took my some family members here and everyone was blown away by how good these cookies are. Better than any cookie I’ve had (I do not have a gluten free diet). A few of my family members have celiac and they were so grateful we found some safe treats on the island. Thank you all for making these delicious desserts. You saved the day when we thought we were going to get a GF donut elsewhere to find out that we had bad information. 👏❤️

The baker offered my grands a tour of the kitchen, and they loved it!***somehow, I missed that these cookies are vegan and gluten free... Apparently, both things are good for cookies, cuz these were the best of our trip. ***The cookies were excellent! Gooey and tasty. This place is a must visit when in Southport. Joelle, the owner, is so welcoming and knowledgeable. We took my friends' 2 girls ages 11 and 7 into the store when Joelle was putting dough in the fridge. She promptly fed their curiosity by showing them where the cookies were made and the special ovens. The cookies are gluten free and vegan and are absolutely delicious! We were lucky to be the first customers to try their ice cream sandwiches which were delectable. Please support this small business!

We got the cookies and cream. My husband loved the frosting. Cookie was okay but a bit gritty. Although it’s great that everyone (GF DF) can eat there.
