MittFitt changed my attitude to exercise and how I precieve myself really. For the first time in my life I feel athletic and I don’t think I have ever felt fitter. I’ve been training with Mittfit since December 2022, when I moved to Cambridge. I initially joined just to do some training. However, the team challenged me to also improve my nutrition and be constant on my training, helping me to lose 7 kg and counting! I’m so happy having meeting these great boot campers.
The MITTFIT bootcamp is a great balanced workout, which includes strength training, cardio and core. It’s a fantastic way to maintain overall fitness. The group is super friendly and Joe is a brilliant teacher!

Stumbled upon an IG add for this training and it was the best decision I made. The community is like no other and Joe, the owner, is incredibly passionate about health and fitness amongst the community. He will push you and check in with you to see how your progress is going. I have been working out with MittFit for 3 months so far. The instuctor, Joe, makes every session interesting and exciting, making sure various muscles on the body are involved for the workout. The other people in the bootcamp are friendly and make new comers very comfortable. Somehow, it is just easy to keep going unlike other gym session! Well done Joe and team :)

I joined MittFit a year ago with my husband and loved it! Each session is different and you feel challenged at the right level for you. My favorite was the session where each letter is assigned an exercise and you need to spell your name. You also get a sense of community, people of all shapes and sizes train together. Thank you Joe!

I was never able to commit to any gym, but think I will stay with this outdoor bootcamp for a long time!! I joined the bootcamp with an aim to lose weight from the pandemic and have a fit outlook. I initially contacted the coach/trainer Joe and took a trial session. After the morning bootcamp, instead of feeling tired, I can concentrate better during the day and my body feels energised :) This really does make my day and work feel better, and is my biggest motivation to attend the bootcamp training frequently. Each training session focuses on muscle building on legs & arms, core abs, each set is balanced with cardio training. Because it's outdoor, the air is always fresh ;) Joe (the trainer/coach) is knowledgeable and approachable. If I'm doing the sets/reps in the wrong way, Joe will help correct me. One of the best decisions I made this year was to join MittFit. I came to Cambridge for one academic year. During lockdown, being able to at least exercice outdoors with caring and competent people such as Joe and Mark from his team was a real joy! I can only recommend!

Mitt fitt has really helped changed my mindset towards food I no longer feel like I’m on a ‘diet’ and I know what foods are good to eat and that having the odd treat doesn’t mean I need to give up! The workouts have seriously helped me keep motivated during this 3rd lockdown and set me up for the day, I look forward to them each day!! I was very nervous as I haven’t done anything since the birth of my 3rd baby back in October. Joe talked us through what was going to happen, the banter between some of the fellow mittFitters and Joe was such an ice breaker and made the sessions very relaxed and inclusive. We all had a laugh (through the tears of pain) and got S**t done! What I enjoy most is that you can go at your own pace without pressure and Joe is always there with words of encouragement and helpful guidance. When I first started PT I was able to loose 7ibs in 12 weeks which I have never succeeded to do on my own because he was able to give me the tools I need to go away with and think about food and daily consumption of protein, carbs etc and making me self aware. Bootcamps are full of friendly helpful people who support each other and do not judge you on how you look, what size you are because we are all doing it for different reasons be it health, weight loss, build muscle, tone or for mental well being but we all enjoy ourselves and will look out for eachother we are a family. As a working mum of three , I’ve struggled with finding motivation and routine for exercise, since having kids. Joe was great at making sure that the challenge fitted around what I had going on, and his approach used the perfect amount of support and challenge to keep me on track. The members page with live Q and A’s and accountability through posts around food , steps, sessions etc was also really supportive ( even though I was doing the whole challenge virtually ). At the start of the process Joe asked what I wanted to get out of it. I said I wanted to lose half a stone and feel fitter. Fast forward 28 days and I’ve lost a stone in weight and 14 inches all over my body. I feel fitter, more toned and more confident. My expectations were exceeded. I started the 28 day challenge with Mittfit and I couldn’t be more proud of myself! In 28 days I have lost 1 stone and 23 and a half inches off my body! I started to join the amazing mittfit crew in the beginning of the lockdown. Joe is a very passionate coach. The workouts are fun and I feel better after them every time. They are tough but it is great to have these sessions.

In these strange times the workouts have kept me healthy, motivated and sane! It’s been great to get back in shape while also having fun and seeing my former workout buddies online. I’ve been attending the bootcamps for 18 months now and I love them! The sessions are always different and give you a full body workout, and even if you’re injured there are always alternative exercises so you don’t miss out on a work out. Everyone is so motivating and friendly it makes for a great atmosphere.
I have been part of MittFit for over a year and I love it. I joined initially to get in shape for my wedding and then never left! I have had great results, better than I ever had working out alone! The sessions are educational, varied and fun, and it is a lovely supportive group of people. Highly recommend 😊

There is also a FB accountability group for sharing your meals with others doing the challenge as well as Joe who will comment on the portion sizes and the food choices etc. As long as you are honest in your posts it is very helpful to record the food intake as otherwise it’s easy to forget what you have had. I didn’t think that I would ever be able to achieve this. I lost 16 pounds and 6% body fat in 6 week. Joe Mitton and his team are amazing, workouts are brilliant, and the atmosphere is great. If you are thinking of loosing some weight get intouch with these guys, you won’t regret.

MittFit bootcamp is full of people with different abilities and fitness but everyone is very supportive and there for the same reason, the support MittFit members give each other isn't just at the bootcamp there's also a massive online support network as well. Don’t normally bother with reviews but had to share how great my first experience of a sports massage with Luke Lindsay was. Being my first ever sports massage I was a little unsure of what to expect but Luke soon reassured me and took the time to get to know the areas that I was feeling pain in. Lower back having been the main problem for a long time. Luke took this onboard and in addition to the massage, he was also able to give me additional tips and advice to take away and use at home too. Luke’s attitude demonstrates a great balance between friendly and professional and his patience knows no bounds when it comes to my multitude of questions. He takes the time to answer each one, demonstrating a great deal of knowledge. Left this morning feeling refreshed and ready for tomorrow’s session💪🏼 Highly recommend. Less
Had a 30 minute sports massage with Luke Lindsey after having problems with my back due to injury and training over the years. I've been seeing Joe for Sports Therapy for a good couple of years and since I moved away for work I'm still yet to find someone to sort out the tension in the various parts of my body courtesy of the lactic acid etc. so I try and fit in seeing Joe to solve all my range of movement issues etc. Yesterday I went to see Joe about the tension in my shoulders and rotator cuffs (specifically on the left side) and even though it was probably one of the most painful sessions, I felt so much looser and the fantastic thing is, he pinpointed exactly where I needed to release. Because of this, I was able to partially recreate the tension release by myself at home with a foam peanut/tennis ball/my fingers and a wall. Sure, it wasn't the same because it's not Joe's magical hands, but he showed me where I was harbouring tension the most and the way to get rid of it and that's knowledge I can use for the rest of my life. Joe used to train my dad at David Lloyd so when I wanted to boost my confidence and switch up my usual gym routine I messaged Mittfit. LONG POST WARNING! Been part of MittFit for a few months now and started off with taking meals on-board and the nutritional information he shares within the Facebook group. Just via this I started seeing differences in my weight, my energy levels etc all from eating the right stuff (seems silly but true). I then started interacting more within the MittFit community and learnt more about meal ideas, replacements for sweet cravings, nutrition, protein shakes/bars etc and gained SO much more motivation and confidence in what i was doing to achieve my goals I had set because before I'd start strong and within a couple of weeks I'd be back to eating and drinking rubbish. Joe and everyone involved with MittFit wants to and are really getting sh*t done when it comes to their goals, which is stonewall proof that it works. I had my first 1-2-1 session eat Saturday and the burn I felt was unreal! Nothing id felt before, I have my next session this Saturday which im really looking forward to. If you ever need a group that is packed full.of food nutrition ideas, motivation, determination and garunteed results then MittFit community is the place to be, everyone helps everyone and it is amazing to see everyone's progression and goals being smashed. �� Less

I have been around a lot of therapists and sports massage. Joe is my 'go to' sorts massage therapist. He keeps me more supple, more mobile, reduces my aches and pain and better abled to stay strong and healthy. Highly recommended.
