While visiting some family for only a few days, I called Velvet Tails on a whim to see if they could groom my Maltipoo. Jenna was so sweet and told me while normally they are booked they had a cancellation and could get us in which worked out perfectly for my trip. Matt groomed her and did an incredible job. He was kind and patient and very loving with Coco. He took such good care of her and she looks so beautiful. I do not live in town otherwise we would be coming to Matt regularly. Thank you again to the nicest team of people. My baby looks beautiful!

Was visiting my family for only a few days, called Velvet Tails on a whim to get my Maltipoo groomed, they had a cancellation and were able to get us in quickly and it fit perfectly for my short trip and busy schedule! Matt groomed her and did a phenomenal job! Even better than my expectations. He was kind and patient and very loving with my dog. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you so much to Matt for the groom and Jenna who helped get me scheduled.

I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. He loves Velvet Tails and Mysti. My dog can be a lot to handle at times and Mysti at Velvet Tails knows just how to treat him and make sure he is groomed properly. He always comes out happy and his nails and coat look great with a stylish scarf to boot! Highly recommend!

We have been so happy with the way our pups are groomed! Each one is given special attention to detail. Great atmosphere, patient and lovely staff. Will never go anywhere else!

Annie had such a great time at her grooming! Mysti was wonderful and Annie loved her. When we picked up Annie…she looked beautiful! 🥹

Mysti and the team at Velvet Tails are AMAZING! My pup (Zoey) is usually very nervous at the groomers, but Mysti is very patient and knows how to keep her calm (& they have treats)!

I can’t say enough about this place. From Matt and his excellent communication to Mysti our groomer who is somehow able to soothe my anxious dogs while doing a beautiful job on their coats, this is the best grooming experience I have had in years! Very reassuring to know I can rely on these folks.

Fantastic people to deal with our dog! Our Morticia is very selective of who she warms up to, and she immediately felt at home when she walked in the door. They deal with one pet at a time so there is less stress for everyone, including our pup. They are very thorough even asking if there is anyone in our home that may be sensitive to scents. Our Tish came home a happy, clean girl!
