Took my 18 month old here for his very first haircut. He has a hard time sitting in one spot for too long, but the person who cut his hair was amazing and really good with him. The haircut turned out nice. She helped with recommendations, as I had no idea what to request. All in all a good experience.

My kids love to have their hair cut here! Before we found Tey at Sharkey’s in Ballard, my boys hated to get their hair cut. Now they remind me when they’re due for a trim. I wouldn’t take them anywhere else.

Excellent experience getting our son’s haircut by Carmen. He got to pick the car he wanted to sit in (“Chase’s” car), watched Paw Patrol throughout the haircut, and got a balloon afterwards. The haircut itself was done perfectly by an experienced hairdresser who was gentle and thorough. This is hands down the most professional haircut he’s had!

We absolutely love Sharkey's and Michelle especially! Michelle does an amazing job with my 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son. She easily adapts to their wiggles, and the haircuts always turn out great. The themed cars and TVs with the kid's favorite shows are a big plus as well.

Tey has been cutting my son's hair for 10 years - since he was 1 year old. She is outstanding. She knows my sons hair and cuts it to work around his cowlicks. He always looks great and is always happy with her cut and his experience! She did his 1st haircut and his big haircut where he cut off his long hair!

We absolutely love getting my boys’ hair cut by Tey! She is by far the best person we’ve had. She has such a great eye for what will look good as their hair grows out, taking into account their hair type and even little cowlicks. She’s incredibly talented and also so gentle and patient, especially with my 2-year-old. She’s the only one who has been able to successfully cut his hair with clippers! I always recommend Tey to friends looking for someone who really knows how to cut little boys’ hair.

We have been taking our now 8 year old daughter to see Michelle A. at Sharkeys for several years now. Michelle is so excellent with our daughter, makes the haircut fun for her, and just does a superb job with the cut itself. We would recommend Michelle highly to everyone.
