I found Tayton Construction after being faced with the rebuilding of an entire home that was brought down to the studs following undisclosed water events. This included re-plumbing the entire house, rebuilding two bathrooms, major sheetrock and painting projects, electrical corrections, and finishes.I was overwhelmed at the time I initially spoke with Chuck Taylor and was just looking for a reliable contractor who could make the home livable. I couldn’t even think about door frame styles or paint. Chuck’s organization and confidence in collecting the scope of the project immediately brought me comfort. After connecting with all of the leadership that would be involved in my project, the timeframe for completion and the attitude of the crew confirmed that this project was in good hands.Mike Keels was tasked with being the project manager, and fielding all of my many questions throughout the project. His patience, flexibility and organization helped keep me on track with even the smallest details and he was thorough in explaining my options. He made sure things were done correctly and was on site routinely. The team was always considerate, clean and beyond efficient in completing tasks throughout the project. Clay, Leo, Blake and Jessel were also instrumental in getting this house finished.After purchasing two homes and interacting with countless contractors of different trades, I can absolutely say that Tayton Construction went above and beyond. Tayton helped us out with a remodel involving the kitchen, dining, and formal living areas, as well as a porch addition to our 1940s ranch. Overall, we are thrilled with the results and the process was not at all like the nightmare construction stories that friends had relayed. Chuck Taylor was great an managing the planning phase, his proposal was accurate and complete, the project was completed nearly on time and on budget. it would be hard to say enough nice things about Mike Keels and his project management. Mike was an absolute professional in keeping work steadily moving forward and dealing with inevitable setbacks. Mike's efficiency , perseverance, and positive attitude in working through problems were truly impressive. Of Mike's many gifts as a contractor, among the most valuable has to be his excellent communication skills. Mike kept us well informed throughout, and dealt skillfully and patiently with our questions, special requests, occasional confusion and changes of mind. The crew were also unfailingly professional, friendly, and clearly good at their jobs. We are so thrilled with our new home. Many thanks to all involved!

Josh was very wonderful to work with and extremely communicative throughout our major entire first floor renovation. He is extremely patient and kind. We had a toilet crack and flood our first floor and Tayton was able to restore our home to even better than it was before! I had a vision for my dream kitchen and they delivered, working hard to make sure I got the materials that I was looking for. Contractors are notorious for poor communication and shoddy work but you will not experience this with Tayton! They are thorough communicators, honest and fair with their pricing, deliver quality work & when issues came up, they were very quick to correct them. They will go above and beyond to make sure you are 100% satisfied. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and and will be using them again for any future renovation needs!

Tayton Construction just finished an outdoor kitchen and patio renovation project for us and we could not be happier. They were fairly priced walked us through all our options patiently and provided some of the best project management I have ever experienced.
