This place was WOW!!!! Golden Pines is truly a special place. Peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature, it feels like a true retreat, not just an Airbnb. The property is perfect for events, group gatherings, and creative or wellness retreats, with plenty of space to connect, relax, and reset. Everything is thoughtfully set up, from the communal areas to the quiet corners. If you’re looking for an event venue, retreat center, or unique Airbnb experience that actually delivers, Golden Pines is it. I’ve attended a few events at this event venue now - and it has become my favorite. I live in Austin and this place is a true retreat away from the city. It feels like the most magical space I’ve been to - from all of the different spaces on the property, to the wide open spaces next to it, there’s so many surprises on this property that blew my expectations away. The craftsmanship is beautiful. I look forward to more events here.

The founders are truly special souls whose devotion to service, community, and conscious living infuses everything they do. As I type this I’m 43, and in my adult life I’ve attended, catered or officiated A LOT of weddings. Of course, that means I’ve been fortunate to see tons of incredible and unique wedding venues all over Texas and Louisiana. That being said, this past weekend I was wedding planner AND officiant for my best friend’s wedding at The Golden Pine. I didn’t quite realize until the day of the event that their wedding was the very first wedding that they’ve hosted. The property as a whole is beautiful, and they’ve really worked very hard to create a special experience all over the venue grounds, inside and out. They meticulously placed beautiful lighting, even using outdoor chandeliers for the bar, and the space that we used for dinner and the dance floor. The owner and staff were extremely professional and very helpful throughout the entire process. One of the things that really stood out the most was their attention to detail and their propped communication leading up to the day of the wedding as well as all throughout the day. Anytime I needed anything or had any questions I received help and support within minutes. I would highly recommend this venue, not only as a wedding venue, but would also be a great place to hold a big party or family reunion or corporate outing, etc. Even though I live in North Austin and it was about an hour drive. It was a very easy drive and I can’t say enough good things about this place.
