It honestly feels as if you’re tasting the actual ingredient rather than just a flavoured ice cream. The taste is rich, natural, and full of flavour, which makes it easy to understand why this place is so popular.It’s almost always busy, so be prepared to queue. During peak times, it can even be difficult to find a seat. However, the quality of the gelato makes it well worth the wait.

We’ve been coming here for years, and it never disappoints! It was great to see the new Cremolato range—we tried the melon flavour, and it was absolutely delicious.It was also lovely to see the familiar staff back. Great customer service from Sweety, and her colleague as always. Just wish this branch would do the Mango gelato, as there other branch does, as it is delicious. Made with mangoes from Pakistan 😋. Which only available at the Queens Road branch. Highly recommend Mango, Pistachio and Dark Chocolate flavours and strawberry Frappe with a shot of espresso

We’ve been coming to Gelato Village for a long time, usually every week, and I genuinely think it’s the best gelato in Leicester. The quality is consistently excellent, which is why we keep coming back.Unfortunately, the loyalty scheme is really disappointing and lets the overall experience down. You receive one stamp per visit regardless of whether you buy one gelato or five. That doesn’t seem to reward loyal customers fairly. If I bought five gelatos over five separate visits, I’d receive five stamps, but buying the same five gelatos in one visit earns just one stamp. It’s hard to see the logic in that.Today’s experience made it even more frustrating. I only needed one more stamp to earn a free gelato, so I offered to pay for one gelato first to receive the final stamp, and then redeem my free one immediately afterwards. I was told this wasn’t allowed. It felt unnecessarily rigid and not very customer-focused.I’ll continue coming because the gelato is genuinely outstanding, but I hope the owners reconsider the loyalty programme. A scheme should reward your best customers, not leave them feeling penalised for buying more.
