We reached out to DeAnna a year ago, after a slew of unreliable nannies we found through Care.com. Our biggest request was to have someone that actually showed up and she delivered! We’ve been working with Nora for a year now and she’s been great with our son. She always brings enthusiasm and creativity to his day - and he can be a lot to keep up with! She’s been flexible as we figure out schedules and routines through each stage. She’s even come back to help us out on Saturday nights so we can have a date night (after spending the whole week at our house!). After such a nightmare couple of months trying to find someone reliable, Handpicked Nanny made this so much easier for us. Highly recommend!

My family used the services of Handpicked Nanny extensively during a recent 5 month military deployment of my husband. I was taking on a new teaching role at a local university and finishing up coursework for my PhD during this time. We had two nannies (Ms. Deja and Ms. Sheneka) that provided care to my five year old son when I was unable to do so. Both nannies were excellent, dependable, fun for my son to interact with, and were able to stick the guidelines and routines that my son is used to. Ms. Sheneka would even provide learning opportunities (mostly subtraction related) while my son at dinner. We look forward to utilizing the Handpicked Nanny services in the future and fully recommend this company and its caregivers.

Deanna was the BEST nanny! She began taking care of our three kids at a challenging time - blending families, out of state move, etc. She handled the trying times expertly and really formed a bond with our pre-teens. All three of them loved her and still mention her. We completely trusted her and knew she was responsible and capable of handing any issue that might arise. During the time Deanna was with us, we utilized her services as a tutor, after school pick up, driver to after school activities, nanny, and occasionally over night sitter. We highly recommend her!

She has a caring personality that makes her a wonderful person to work with kids. This allows me as parent to be confident that our child will be in good hands under her care.
