Great first experience with this establishment. I was desperate for help, dealing with a bratty Pomeranian who was clearly used to King Treatment. He had a laundry list of bad habits—mild snarling & growling at handlers & other pets especially when food is involved, excessive begging or outright food theft, pissing on rugs and pooping on hardwood floor in one specific bedroom, ignoring basic commands & near complete absence of recall, inability to properly heel and so on. When the trainers I worked with came for an initial evaluation, they could tell that I strongly disliked the dog because of months of frustration. I truly wanted the dog out of the house, permanently gone. After 8 weeks of twice a week sessions, there’s a tremendous positive difference in behavior. Granted, the dog still needs work and his negative behavior is not yet completely eradicated. Realistically, a dog rooted in bad behavior is going to need more than just 8 weeks of training; however, the 8 weeks of training spent with this establishment’s trainers is well worth the investment and the built foundation for continued growth. The overall experience has transformed the household dynamic. The dog better respects the people and other animals in the house. I have shifted from a strong dislike of the dog to neutrality (which is a good sign), and I have even cracked a few smiles in reaction to the dog’s improved obedience.
