I first used Real Painting and Home Improvement a decade ago, for complete exterior painting of a 175 year old home, and for removal of velvet flocked wallpaper and painting of two interior rooms. Their prompt, carefully detailed and accurate estimates, their reliable scheduling, and their meticulous work impressed me then and led me to contract with them again in September 2023 to repaint the house exterior. In the intervening decade, Real has expanded considerably, but once again the owner's response to my request was prompt, his estimate after a careful walk-through of needed work was thorough, and work was scheduled promptly. This time, work included some carpentry in addition to surface preparation (scraping where necessary and power washing), painting of house, garage, and an antique wrought iron fence, railings, and gate. As before, the owner's oversight was prompt and appreciated, the crew was stable and hard-working (arriving each day at 7:30 and working until sunset) but unobtrusive, cleanup each day and at job completion was thorough, and work was accomplished on schedule. As before, I am delighted with the results. I would absolutely use Real Painting and Home Improvement again should the need arise. It is a pleasure to work with both the owner and his employees, and the firm's work is first-rate.-- Less

When we decided to paint our 16-year-old house we could not be happier with our decision to go with Real Painting & home-improvement. Carlos (the owner) and his team were the best contractors we’ve ever dealt with. They started by painting a few rooms & ceilings on the interior And then moved on to paint the entire exterior. The interior came out beautiful. They moved furniture, filled holes , took down and replaced curtains. The line from wall to ceiling and ceiling from baseboard is sharp and clean. On the exterior they power washed the whole house the first day. Next they came to replace whatever rotted trim we had. After that onto the painting and what a fantastic job they did.
