I contacted James after having power issues with my main breaker at home. He provided an assessment over the phone and sent me a proposal/estimate for the work to be done. James set me up with one of his technicians Kiel who was also amazing throughout . Kiel competed the work , explained everything he was doing and was friendly and knowledgeable . James arranged for the permit and contacted hydro to restore power after the work was competed. I highly recommend the team at Oakwest, honest and hardworking, excellent communication throughout and quality work done!

These guys were wonderful. They upgraded our electrical panel, installed a Level 2 car charger by running cable through our attic and then they did a bunch of small electrical fixes we needed around the house. We originally hired Hilltop Electric and they sent Oak West to do the job. Next time we will cut out the middle man!

Had an issue with an electrical to a washer and dryer. I found oak west in a Google search and was very happy with their service. I was well informed on my initial call. James was very professional, informative and followed up on things afterwords.Definitely recommend.

I called Oakwest Electric later in the afternoon with an unusual electrical problem. He arrived soon after and found a problem with our meter. It ended up being a major repair that required hours sourcing materials on a Saturday before a long weekend. He finished around 11PM. BC Hydro replaced their service cable and drove off 1:15 AM. James took care of every detail. The cost was at least $1000 below what I anticipated. We were in a pinch and James quietly took care of every detail.

James had a technician dispatched to my place within the hour I called for an emergency repair, kept up solid communication throughout the process, and worked with BCHydro to make the whole event as pain free as possible. Bobby, the electrician sent, was quick, courteous, and knowledgeable. If I could give more stars, I would. 100% recommend.

I contacted Oakwest for service given that half of my power was out in my condo. I was offered helpful advice via text by a friendly and knowledgeable electrician. Turned out that the issue was a BC Hydro issue. If I require an electrician in the future, this company will be at the top of my list!
