I’ve had two laser sessions with Nurse Tiba, and she’s been amazing! I have a very low pain tolerance, but she’s been so patient, gentle, and reassuring throughout each session. I sent an inquiry message and received a call from someone named Yoni from Burlington few days ago.Unfortunately, the interaction was very disappointing.She came across as extremely rude, impatient, and aggressive throughout the conversation.Instead of trying to assist, I felt spoken to in a dismissive and unprofessional manner, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.Customer service should always be respectful and helpful, and this experience was the complete opposite.I hope the clinic addresses this, as no client should be treated this way.

My wife and I have been clients of this clinic since last November and have repeatedly given them opportunities to address our concerns. Unfortunately, our experiences have consistently been marked by poor communication, lack of professionalism, and treatment errors.One of our biggest concerns was the CoolSculpting treatment. The procedure was sold to us using the CoolSculpting brand name, FDA-clearance information, and statistics regarding CoolSculpting results. However, a completely different machine was ultimately used for the treatment. This was never clearly communicated to us, and despite the significant cost, my wife experienced absolutely no results. More concerning, she later developed a lump in the treated area and is currently undergoing medical investigation, including ultrasound imaging.My wife was also booked for a Hydrafacial and repeatedly confirmed this before treatment began. She specifically stated that she did not want microdermabrasion, yet was assured multiple times that the treatment being performed was part of a Hydrafacial. Only afterward was she told she had actually received a different treatment because staff believed she was there for “just a facial with microdermabrasion.”When concerns were raised, they were met with dismissive attitudes rather than accountability or professionalism.Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this clinic. Do not waste your money here.

My husband and I have been patients at Renovo Skin & Body Care Clinic in Etobicoke since last November. Unfortunately, after giving the clinic multiple opportunities to address our concerns and improve our experience, I can no longer recommend this business.One of my primary concerns relates to a CoolSculpting treatment. During the consultation process, the effectiveness of CoolSculpting was presented using FDA-cleared CoolSculpting statistics and marketing materials. However, the treatment itself was ultimately performed using a different device. Had this been clearly explained beforehand, I would have been able to make a fully informed decision.Even more concerning, during my treatment, the technician asked me to physically hold the treatment applicator while she left the room to provide another individual with a treatment( she said it was her brother). I found this highly unprofessional and inconsistent with the standard of care I expected from a medical aesthetics clinic.Communication throughout my experiences at this clinic has been extremely poor. On a separate visit, I was specifically booked for a Hydrafacial. Before treatment began, I repeatedly confirmed that I was there for a Hydrafacial and clearly stated that I did not want microdermabrasion. I was assured multiple times that the procedure being performed was part of the Hydrafacial treatment. Only after the procedure was completed was I told that I had actually received microdermabrasion because staff had been informed I was there for “just a facial.” This level of confusion regarding a booked and paid-for treatment is unacceptable.When I raised my concerns, I did not feel they were taken seriously. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, staff members appeared dismissive and continued whispering, laughing, and rolling their eyes while I was present in the clinic.Most concerning of all, I have since developed a lump in the treated area following the body contouring procedure. While complications can occur with any treatment, I am currently undergoing medical investigation, including ultrasound imaging, to determine the cause and document my condition.My experience has been marked by poor communication, lack of professionalism, inconsistent information, and a concerning lack of accountability when issues were raised.Based on our experiences over several months, neither my husband nor I can recommend this clinic.

I recent visit was extremely pleasant. I found the laser technician, Gretchen - highly professional and skilled at her role. I wish people like her stay back as they elevate the experience of a med spa. She took her time and addressed my issues carefully. Each time I've come in the past, it's been a different person and I cannot say the same for my previous experiences. Highly recommend her.
