Cora was so sweet with my son. He absolutely hates haircuts and our experience was so much better than a normal salon. She gave him bubbles changed the tv show a million times and even a sucker. So glad we found this place!

Cora makes what is such a traumatic task to complete for my autistic son Rolan , into such a calm kind and compassionate experience even when he was overstimulated . I know as a mom of an autistic kiddo it such a huge blessing and makes such a relief knowing that we found Cora at Sharkeys. Everyone is also so kind and friendly there as soon as you walk in. Sharkey's is the best kids hair salon in Louisville hands down. Cora is patient, gentle and always cuts our son's hair perfectly. Sharkey's has a great atmosphere and great customer service.We've gone to ShortCuts4kids and Sit Still, and Sharkey's is so much better than either salon.

I can’t say enough good things about Cora and Chloe. They have both done an amazing job cutting my son Elijah’s hair. Elijah is autistic and non-verbal, which can make haircuts challenging, but they handle him with so much patience, care, and understanding every single time.They take their time, make him feel comfortable, and create a calm environment that truly makes a difference. As a parent, that means everything to me. This place has by far been the better kids cut my kids have ever had. The place is obviously great for kids. Fun cars to sit in for the younger little. Xbox for the bigger kids even. My daughter got a complementary wash and her nails painted. It’s quite the experience. Staff was super nice and helpful when talking about what cuts and styles we wanted. Love it here. Count us in as regulars.

Dylan was incredible with my son's first haircut! I was nervous going in, but within minutes she had both of us completely at ease. She was patient, kind, and so sweet with him throughout the entire appointment. You can tell she has a true gift for working with kids, and it absolutely shows. We couldn't have asked for a better first haircut experience. Highly recommend Dylan to any parent!
