Two months ago, I joined Flow and Fit, and it has honestly been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself.I’m a middle aged woman and a recent empty nester who made work my entire life. I worked all the time and never really did anything for myself. When I started going through perimenopause, I realized that taking hormones alone wasn’t going to fix how I was feeling. I knew I needed to start exercising and taking care of myself, so I started looking for a gym.After meeting with Brian, I just had a feeling he and his team were going to help me.When I started working out with Brian and Coach Jess, I was weak physically and emotionally. Walking into a gym when you’re out of shape can be intimidating, but they never made me feel embarrassed or judged. They met me where I was, encouraged me, and made me feel comfortable from day one.Brian also gave me emotional support, which I didn’t realize I needed as much as I did. He always knew how to motivate and encourage me, especially on the days when I was struggling to get to the gym. His support went far beyond strength training, and it made a bigger difference in my journey than I ever expected.Another surprised was how welcoming everyone was. Brian and Jess introduced me to other members, and before I knew it, I had made friends. Having that support made me want to keep coming back. It wasn’t just about working out anymore. It became something I actually looked forward to.Today, I genuinely look forward to going to the gym and seeing Brian, Jess, and all of the amazing people I’ve met there. I’m getting stronger every week, but even more importantly, I feel happier and more like myself again.If you’re looking for a smaller, more personal gym where people are truly kind, humble and want to see you succeed, I can’t recommend Flow and Fit enough. It’s so much more than a place to work out. For me, it became exactly what I needed.
