A Lifeline for Caregivers Fifteen years ago, I found myself navigating the unknown as a caregiver for my loved one with cancer. It was a daunting journey, with no clear roadmap to guide me through the overwhelming maze of options, care decisions, and available resources. At the time, I quickly realized there was no “Caregiving for Dummies” book to help me along the way. I consider myself a persistent and determined person—when one door closed, I knocked on the next. But even with that mindset, I often felt lost and overwhelmed. Looking back, what I wouldn’t have given for an organization like this to exist back then! You are the “Caregiving for Dummies” I desperately needed during that time—a trusted resource that empowers caregivers with knowledge, guidance, and support.
