My Journey Nurse exceeded all our expectations. They held our hand from start to finish from educating our family on all the medications to providing a daily/ weekly nursing schedule. We felt at ease with a thoughtful program and schedule that worked for everyone. The stress Taya relieved from our family was exactly what we were nervous about before and after leaving the hospital. I've known Taya for 4 years, and watching what she does for a living is purely inspiring! There is no other nurse like her that I've met, let alone an oncology nurse. Having lost my father to cancer over 10 years ago, I truly wish there was a "Taya" around to be there with him during his journey. Someone with such a caring heart, decades of knowledge and a calming voice to be part of his team. Not only would it have helped my father, it would have been a huge support and relief for my mother. Removing the stress of making sure his medications are correct and timely, Dr appointments on time and actually hearing and remembering what the Dr/nurses said.
