My husband stepped on a screw! This was a rusty screw and left a lot of debris in the wound even after washing it out. We used Little Prairie Herbal Apothecary’s drawing salve right away. We kept it covered and then reapplied again that night. And reapplied several more times over the next 2 days, as well as he got an updated tetanus shot. Then we switched to her wound salve for several more days. This injury healed so fast due to her products! We have been amazed. I highly recommend keeping some of the drawing salve around for the unexpected. We have also used some of the Rattlesnake Balm on the top of his foot to help with the inflammation from the injury. All in all every product has exceeded any expectations. Oh and get some of the Blue Tansy face balm while you’re at it….its dreamy. Less
