I can’t put into words how wonderful he was. He was my favorite part of our wedding. Communication was so easy, he was so responsive, and clear when he needed something (which was rare - he was so low maintenance even with our wild requests). We gave him a long list of custom songs only one week from the wedding and not only did he learn them all, he executed them each with perfect tone and pacing, at a rate I’d consider a steal! He arrived looking fresh and professional and his piano shell and set up were beautiful. If I could relive any part of my whole wedding, hands down it would be the two hours he played for us. Don’t bother looking at anyone else. Don’t think twice. Hire him.

Mikhail played piano during our ceremony and did an incredible job. The songs we asked him to cover he did perfectly, and he worked with us to tweak the way they sounded in advance of the wedding as well. He also took care of our mic and sound system during the ceremony, which all sounded great. We highly recommend him!

Mikhail was awesome! We reached out to him at the last minute for our event, and we were lucky enough to have him available. Communication was smooth from start to finish, and he was incredibly punctual. He arrived 30 minutes early to set up and always had a big smile on his face. And did I mention his piano skills? They were phenomenal. His performance added something truly special to the event and left a lasting impression on our guests. I would highly recommend Mikhail to anyone looking for a talented, professional, and reliable musician.

Mikhail was absolutely incredible and helped make our wedding everything we dreamed it would be. His piano playing was beautiful and our guests were so impressed. His performance brought class and elegance to our wedding and the baby grand piano he brought looked stunning on our stage. He even allowed my father, who used to play professionally, to play a song, which made the day even more special and memorable for our family. From start to finish, Mikhail was professional, talented, and a pleasure to work with. He worked seamlessly with the production company we hired as well. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pianist for their wedding or special event. He is the best of the best! Thank you, Mikhail!

I found Mikhail on the Knot. He was kind, patient, respectful from the beginning. He worked with me to achieve the desired music at my wedding. I hired both Mikhail on piano and his mother Gallina on violin. The Romanov’s are professional, talented and overall, fantastic musicians and people. My venue’s setup was unique, having cocktail hour on a completely different floor; a challenge to move instruments around. Mikhail created a plan and executed it perfectly- it was seamless even with the rain. The duo arrived promptly, dressed to the nines and performed incredibly. Playing songs they learned just for my husband and I, thank you! My guests have been raving about the music. Mikhail’s communication was exemplary throughout the process. His responses were timely and efficient. I appreciated his attentiveness to my needs. He provided recommendations, guidance and suggestion when needed. I am grateful for his expertise. I just can’t wait and hope that some of these songs were caught on video so I can relieve the music forever! The doors opened, A Thousand Years was being performed, the whole room standing, as I slowly walked down the aisle to my soon to be husband, watching tears rolling down his face. A moment in time that will live in my heart- forever and I believe the violin and piano were truly the cherry on top. Hire Mikhail. You won’t regret it. Thank you Mikhail and Gallina. It was a beautiful day, thanks to you.

I collaborated with Mikhail on a luxury perfume launch event, and was extremely impressed by his talent and presence as a performer. He effortlessly shifts between pop, classical and jazz, and I watched as guest after guest approached him to compliment his playing. As someone with over a decade of experience in the luxury event industry, I can honestly say that he was exceptional, and I would highly recommend him for any performance opportunity.

Mikhail Romanov was truly the perfect pianist for our wedding ceremony! He played every song elegantly, skillfully, and with such emotion that every moment was special and impactful. My bridal entrance was timed flawlessly, as the song swelled at the most dramatic and beautiful part, bringing me to tears because the moment felt so magical. Mikhail created the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony from beginning to end, and our guests were so impressed by the wonderful music. He was easy to communicate with, fulfilled all of our requests and was such a pleasure to work with. Not only did he have so many songs in his repertoire from different genres, but he learned new songs for us that we envisioned for our day, including an EDM song and Only Hope from one of my favorite movies. We couldn’t have asked for a better pianist for such an important day and would highly recommend him for your wedding/event!

Mikhail is professional, talented, and worth every penny! He learned some cultural piano music for us and our guests loved the added touch of live music. It added such elegance to our event. My now mother in law follows him on social media too just to listen to him play. He responds in a timely fashion and provided a healthy list of songs for us to choose from.

Mikhail was amazing at our wedding! He played for my ceremony and cocktail hour. He learned a special requested song that I sent him for my ceremony - played it perfectly. He was also able to make my dream of getting married outside come true - even though it was forecasted to rain (thankfully weather held up during ceremony). He moved his piano outside last minute and made it happen! Thank you Mikhail!

Mikhail and his mother performed for our wedding ceremony and it was perfection. They created a wonderful ambiance while our guests were waiting for the ceremony and after it ended, and they absolutely nailed the timing and performance for our processional and recessional. On top of that, Mikhail was a breeze to work with. He truly listened to us every step of the way and made our vision come to life.

Can’t say enough nice things about Mikhail. He played for my baby shower this past weekend and the experience working with him was excellent from first getting in touch to the amazing job he did playing during the event. And beyond the wonderful music playing throughout the event, unbeknownst to me, my Dad had gotten in touch with him separately to ask him to play a few songs to weave into his speech. Mikhail absolutely crushed it! He’s talented, very kind and responsive, and comes with all of the gear/equipment he needs. Look no further!

We were absolutely thrilled with the beautiful music Mikhail and his mom, provided for our wedding! They played for an entire hour and their performance truly added something special to our day. Mikhail even took the time to learn three songs that weren’t from their usual repertoire, including a Bad Bunny song, which made the experience even more personal and memorable for us and our guests. Mikhail was incredibly responsive over phone and email, punctual the day of the performance, and well-organized, making the planning process effortless. He even graciously negotiated with a street performer (to pause their music for a bit) to ensure their performance went smoothly for us. Both Mikhail and his mom are outstanding musicians, and their music was the perfect addition to our celebration. We couldn’t have been happier with their contribution to our wedding!

Mikhail was out Pianist for our wedding ceremony and he was incredible! He sent us an extensive list of songs he could play which was so helpful. Our friends and family had a great time listening to him play and recognizing the songs we chose while they patiently awaited our entrances. For my wedding entrance, I really wanted a Harry Potter themed song to be played as I walked out and had a small snippet I had found online, but was worried it wasn’t long enough or that it wouldn’t work out. I was thrilled when Mikhail said he could play it, and day of….it was absolutely perfect. I literally had the entrance that I had dreamed of! I highly recommend Mikhail, he is very professional, organized, incredibly talented and plays beautifully!

Mikhail, along with his mother Galina and the vocalist Gian, formed a delightful trio that enchanted our guests during both the cocktail hour and reception. Initially, we had a different vocalist, but due to unforeseen conflicts, we needed a male vocalist instead. Mikhail went above and beyond, dedicating considerable effort to help us find the perfect replacement. There were doubts among those around us about whether a live band could truly set the tone and create the right mood for our event. Many suggested adding a DJ instead, but we remained steadfast in our decision to stick with Mikhail—and we're so glad we did. Mikhail is not only a professional and communicative musician but also incredibly talented. His performance, complemented by Galina and Gian, exceeded all expectations. Our guests unanimously agreed that the music was one of the highlights of the night, expressing their love for the live performance which provided a refreshing change from typical DJ setups. Rest assured, with Mikhail, Galina, and Gian, your guests won't just dance—they'll be thoroughly entertained.

Where do I even begin?! Mikhail was simply amazing. From our first phone call to every text message in between, he and his mother completely made us feel confident and at ease with our wedding song choices. Not to mention how amazing they were as a duo. So elegant, classy, and timeless. They were so attentive, punctual, detail oriented, and so kind. Mikhail answered every question I had and even suggested things when I wasn’t sure what to do. He was even kind enough to allow us to borrow his microphone for the speeches. Thank you for being so incredible and talented. I’d recommend this duo time & time again!!)
