I cannot say enough wonderful things about STEAM Camp and the amazing people who run it. This is so much more than just a camp or a business — these are genuinely kind, generous, and caring people who truly care about children and families.When my family needed some understanding and support, they treated me with compassion, respect, and kindness. They were willing to listen, help, and find a way to support us when we needed it. That means more to a parent than I can put into words.It is rare to find an organization where you feel that the people behind it are not simply doing their jobs, but actually care about the families they serve. Their generosity and humanity really touched me.The staff is wonderful, helpful, welcoming, and dedicated to the children. Full STEAM Ahead absolutely deserves a 5 star review. Our son is now in his 6th year with the program, and it has been amazing to watch how much he has grown during that time. He has loved it so much that he is now volunteering to help the younger children, which really shows how much Full STEAM Ahead means to him.The program is packed with creativity, learning, and hands on opportunities in science, technology, engineering, art, and music. It has given him a place to explore his interests, build confidence, develop his technology skills, and express his creativity in a fun and supportive environment.Just as meaningful have been the friendships and connections he has made there. Over the years, he has built a wonderful, close group of friends through this program. Some may become lifelong friendships, and regardless, having a place where he can learn, feel included, connect with new friends, and grow alongside the same group of kids has been truly special for him and for us.The staff is outstanding—caring, upbeat, friendly, and genuinely invested in the children. They create a welcoming environment with great energy, where kids can have fun while parents feel confident that they are safe and well cared for. Ms. Beth, who leads the program in Naples, is truly exceptional. Her energy, care for the children, and dedication to creating such a positive experience are evident in everything she does.We are so grateful for everything Full STEAM Ahead has provided for our son. I definitely recommend it to any family looking for a high quality, creative, enriching program where their child can learn, grow, have fun, and build meaningful connections.

2/5 Stars – Misleading Structure, Not Worth the Time or CostWe signed our son up for Full Steam Ahead’s YouTube camp on the final day of registration after calling for more details. While staff were friendly, they declined to share a daily itinerary, citing it as “proprietary,” and made it clear there were no refunds.Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. The camp includes very little actual time spent on YouTube. Most work is done outside the platform, with videos only compiled into a channel on the final day. Of the 3-hour daily session, roughly 30-45 minutes was instruction and another 30 minutes was guided practice. The remaining ~1.5-2 hours consisted largely of unstructured time or games (though some of this was described as “additional practice” of the lesson).Our son came home upset after the first day, saying he was bored and spent too much time waiting around. He did enjoy the instructional portions, and the teachers and other kids were kind, but the overall structure did not justify the cost—especially during a limited vacation window.We requested a partial refund (50%) after the first day, which was declined in line with their stated policy. There were also small but notable issues, like staff initially using the wrong name for our son.This camp may work for some children, but based on our experience, parents should go in with clear expectations about how time is actually spent and make sure it works for them. For us, it was a disappointing use of both time and money for something our child had been genuinely excited about. While I understand (and accepted) the no refund policy, it would have been nice had they been willing to work with us to find a better solution for our particular situation, as this was the first time ever using their company. A little flexibility would have gone a long way.

Unfortunately we really were looking forward to this camp. The first day they said there was no internet and just played Minecraft for three hours. The rest of the camp was making a house that was never printed. My son also made a castle that was never printed.My son said there were other camps going on and it was very loud and kids didn’t listen and it was very distracting. Staff wasn’t overly friendly or even explained anything. For as expensive as it was for only three hours a day, we were highly disappointed. It’s not what is posted. If you are going to hold a 3D printing camp, at least print one object they created.

My son said he had so much fun. He liked the variety of activities that they did each day and is already asking to go back again! The camp counselors were professionals and I’d definitely say yes to this camp again.

Excellent camp! Our 6 year old has had a blast and he has told us it’s his favorite he has been to all summer. He has learned a lot about coding, building, and more. Couldn’t recommend more!

We absolutely love this camp for our daughter! The combination of educational lessons and STEM-based activities keeps her engaged, challenged, and excited to attend every day, and best of all is the theme change each week, provoking the excitement. The instructors are great, challenging the kids to excel. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and highly recommend this camp to other families for the perfect Summer program.
