I bought a Groupon for a basic AC tune-up with this company. When the technician came in June 2024, he said my coils were dirty and sold me a coil cleaning for $300. Since I had just finished major construction at home and the house was very dusty, I agreed. To be fair, he did remove the coils, flush them with a hose, and even showed me pictures while I was working at my desk. But what he did not clean was just as important, the drain pan and the pipe. I only realized this a little over a year later, when my system clogged badly. The pan, the pipe to the pump, was blocked. I unclogged them myself and they were full of dirt and buildup, clearly not cleaned properly during their service. Here’s the part that really bothered me: before their service, I went two years without ever cleaning the coils or drain line and never had a clog. Yet only one year after their “professional” cleaning, the system backed up to the point of possibly damaging my pump (it was left sucking air and now seems to be failing).Afterward, I called the company to ask if the coil cleaning was supposed to include the pan and pipe. They told me yes. That confirmed my suspicion, if it was included, then it wasn’t done right. When I pointed this out, instead of acknowledging the issue, the technician got defensive and told me I should have it cleaned “twice a year.”I paid $300 for a professional service to prevent problems, not create new ones. Instead I ended up with clogged lines, a stressed pump, and a company that wouldn’t even listen. I now I have to spend on a new pump and installation service because of this problem and I was thinking in calling them again for the service! Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this company.
