I needed a shower faucet cartridge changed. It was a 70's style Moen faucet. They came in and did an estimate the next day after we called. I discovered the leak on a Saturday afternoon, over the Labor Day weekend. I shut off the water to the house and I contacted Bob (Summit Plumbing) after catching my breath. The leak stopped after shutting off the water, and the urgency had subsided. Because of this, Bob delayed his house call until the next morning, a SUNDAY. Bob arrived early Sunday morning, we isolated the leak... and resolved it temporarily. Bob returned with his crew Tuesday and permanently repaired the leak. Adam and Andrew disassembled our water heater, replaced the malfunctioning one from Home Depot/Rheem, and hooked up the new water heater. They were professional, very personable, kind, covid cautious, and wonderful. They made a very bad 5 days much better. Everyone including Alexa, Bob, Andrew and Adam were exceptional. The work done by Brandon and Adam was done quickly, professionally, and with an eye toward craftsmanship. The second visit was for the replacement of a water heater that was beginning to falter. Adam and Andrew were punctual and good-to-go on arrival. They removed and replaced the water heater efficiently, and as before, with professionalism and an eye toward detailed, quality work. It should be noted that one of the managers, Bob, thoughtfully had the team make a special trip into Portland to pick up the specific water heater we needed out of concern we would be inconvenienced otherwise. In both cases, the Summit Technicians were careful of the surroundings, leaving all work areas neat and clean. They were especially careful inside our home. I also want to add, the positive experience began with coordinator/dispatcher Alexa. Less than 15 minutes after my initial contact through the website, I was notified the message was received and everything smoothly moved forward through completion. Communication is important to me and Alexa proactively emailed me with scheduling and other details. These guys are rockstars, top to bottom. I was told that there wasn't an available appt until the following Monday.
