I strongly feel that Dr. Catherine Arnold was being RACIST towards me! During my chiropractic appointment, she yelled at me, publicly humiliated me, denied my medical records, and treated me in a way that no one deserves!!I had a visit December 17th Wednesday at 2PM. I scheduled an appointment for the same day. I originally began seeking services for relief from severe back pain due to a car accident. I started as a patient sometime end of September or October of this year, 2025. I had attended about 5 appointments or so with the car insurance, paying directly.Dr. Arnold and her staff chose not to disclose any payment issues when I scheduled over the phone. When I checked in, or during intake with another staff. They waited until I was already lying on the treatment table, moments before care was supposed to begin. I was directed to lay down and wait for treatment to begin. As Dr. Arnold was reviewing my chart she suddenly announced I would have to pay out of pocket.I calmly asked for clarification and got up confused. She immediately became hostile, began screaming at me, accused me of missing 13 appointments back to back. She then proceeded to call me a liar when I explained that her staff had confirmed a day-to-day scheduling arrangement.I then asked if she could provide records of the phone calls she claimed her staff had made to me before terminating my care. She refused and said she was unable to provide them. I also requested my medical records. Dr. Arnold denied my request and told me to come back next week, falsely claiming it would take two weeks. Her own receptionist later told me the records could be provided within two hours.After denying my records, Dr. Arnold shouted at me vehemently, “GET OUT.” As I gathered my belongings, fighting tears, I tried to de-escalate and asked if we could discuss the issue with her staff. She said she did not have time, yet followed me through the office with her arms crossed, glaring at me.As I spoke to staff to request my medical records as is my right she came back to continue to scream and embarrass me.She cursed at me, shouting at me of “are you talking shit behind my back to the staff?!” I responded I am not doing that. What I was doing and is expressing how disappointed I am. I was expressing I feel extremely disrespected and felt this was unfair. I repeatedly stated this is a miscommunication and continued to ask for proof of 13 said missed appointments.Instead of apologizing Dr. Arnold stated she felt disrespected but could not provide any valid reasons as to why. She was the one screaming at me and cursing. I never cursed at her. I never raised my voice. I was only expressing how uncomfortable and disrespected I felt by her yelling at me with the public humiliation. Her staff obviously felt embarrassed and awkward with the situation. Refusing to make eye contact for too long and trying to be polite. They were helpful in communicating my records could be prepared in 2 hours. They also provided me text message transcripts of when they reached out. They did not provide phone call records. Of course as I was leaving, Dr. Arnold menacingly returned. I took this opportunity to directly let her know that I felt her behavior was RACIST. She laughed and said it was “comical.” She seemed more offended I would call her racist then concerned about the miscommunication and improper termination of care.I left the office fighting back tears. The moment I got into my car, I broke down crying. I was denied care, denied my records (initially), verbally abused, and stripped of dignity as a patient.Dr. Catherine Arnold’s behavior was abhorrent and completely unprofessional. For someone who graduated only 1.5 years ago from chiropractic school, you would expect her to prioritize patient care and maintain a professional, respectful approach at all times. Instead, she chose to demean me, scream at me, terminate care on false pretenses and exhibit what I believe to be RACIST behavior in the manner she spoke and acted.
