My experience at this office was very disappointing, unfortunately. This was my first visit at this office, and for reference, I have limited availability when I can see the dentist, and waited about 2 months for this appointment, which I thought would be a cleaning and xray. When I entered the dental room, the hygienist (?), said I would only be doing my xray and exam today and that no cleaning would be done. When I asked why, she said that it was because they were down a hygienist and I would have to schedule another appointment for a cleaning, but the ladies at the front desk should’ve told me that (which they didn’t). When I went to schedule my cleaning, the lady at the desk said they do it this way, and the first intake appointment is xray and exam and assessing which cleaning you need, and the second appointment is the cleaning itself. When I said the other lady said it was because they were down a hygienist, she said that it was actually both, which I was confused by and didn’t understand. Anyway, the next available appointment (even disregarding my availability), was September, and with my availability was October. And the only upside apparently was “people cancel every other day” and I’ll be put on a waitlist. I understand that this is how the office does things. But a heads up and better communication would’ve been nice. I will be finding another dentist
