I contacted Aron for a quote on replacing my Decks. Aron was prompt with his estimates and up-front on what could and could not be done. The work started as promised and there were no surprises. His crew was professional and the project was delivered as promised. I am thrilled with the results. Our upper deck is almost double in size of what it used to be. The decks are modern, sleek, and inviting.

***** Worth EVERY Penny *****We recently moved into a 1960’s home in Concord that came with an old, rotting fence. In fact, shortly after we moved in, part of a shared neighbor fence fell down. We have a large backyard which backs-up to a noisy, major street. The sides of our backyard are shared with three separate neighbors. We were looking for someone who would do quality work, while respecting our neighbors’ property. We also wanted a team who would do their best to keep the area safe and contained for our neighbor’s small dogs.I had three companies come out and give us estimates. Aron told me upfront his estimate would probably be the most expensive - and it was. However, we chose to work with Aron Ambrus Construction, as he was so responsive, and confidently promised the highest quality. He and his team delivered.Jorge was the foreman on our job. He is an incredibly lovely man. Jorge told me, “I make the best fences.” Jorge doesn’t lie. He ensured that every post was embedded not the standard 2 ft., per code - but to 3 ft. (which, by the way, I’ve heard some companies don’t even bother to embed the posts to code). The cement at the base of each post was rounded-off, so over time, water will not pool and deteriorate the post. Every portion of the fence was built perfectly level, which, in our yard, involved creating several steps in the fence. Aron and Jorge came up with a plan to attractively raise the height of the fence, despite the existing cinder block posts, located off of the main street. They built a large, easy to open, spring-loaded gate, which opens out, to code, due to the existence of a pool in our backyard. Jorge and the team used screws at the midpoint of each board, so as the fence settles over the years, no gaps will appear.While working on our job, Jorge and the team were respectful of each neighbor’s property. They worked mostly on our side, and made sure they left no dirt or debris in the neighbors’ yards before closing up the fence(s). In fact, Jorge somehow even managed to speak with every neighbor. He answered questions, and set proper expectations.Aron checked in with me every day, either here at the site in person or by text. He was open to (and thankful for) any feedback. Jorge was also open to feedback, and even asked me several times which option I would prefer on certain aspects of the fence, to ensure we were all on the same page.I am confident our new fence will last for many, many years. The only thing I’m kind of bummed about is I no longer get to see Jorge’s smiling face each morning.I highly and confidently recommend Aron Ambrus Construction. You won’t be disappointed. You will come away with a solid, beautiful fence. And as a bonus, you’ll work with people with incredible attention to detail - who are respectful, honest, and friendly.P.S. I met Aron 6 months ago when I had an older 42-ft fence that was leaning and needed replacing. I got 3 quotes- the lowest bidder had mistakes and lack of clarity in his quote, while Aron's quote was in the middle, but it was clear and giving me just what I needed including a better water drainage under the fence. He was also very easy to talk to, his communication was prompt and he was flexible in making adjustments in the planning process. He and his crew worked real hard and explained things to me along the way. The fence looks great, and neighbors complimented it too. The cleanup was thorough. I found him highly knowledgeable, professional, easy to work with and prompt. He shows great workmanship, pays attention to detail, and leaves you happy with an excellent product for your money. I had another fence job come up last month, and this time I needed to look no further and just called him up again. He gave me a good quote for his high quality, and started the job promptly. When he ran into decision circumstances, he checked with me first instead of making guesses. This time redwood price went up after his quote, and he also used more railings to make the fence stronger, but didn't charge me for the extra. His integrity and perfectionism show. He cares for the customer and takes pride in his work, and that makes him different. I would definitely hire him again.

If you want to hire somebody who is reliable, knowledgeable about their work, and who will deliver top quality work, Aron Ambrus is definitely the guy to call.
