I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided.Tape was left on all vents and mirrors that were never cleaned. One vent that had visible fire residue was not cleaned at all. The laundry room was not touched, yet I was billed as if the entire room had been cleaned.The company billed for numerous items listed on the estimate that had already been removed prior to cleanup, including the microwave, ceiling fan, and range. I was also charged for cleaning all floors, even though contents were left piled in the middle of the rooms and the flooring underneath was never addressed.This is just the tip of the iceberg. I have dozens more photos and videos documenting the condition of the home after the “cleanup.”Due to the extent of the discrepancies and what I believe to be fraudulent billing practices, a police report has been filed.I would give 0 stars if that were an option.

I reached out to Romexterra Restoration company for my mold problem in my apartment building basement storage area.They are very quick to respond to my request. I was contacted by Tony Mayoral. The project manger for my work. He inspected my storage area, full basement area and provided very good advice and recommendations. He was very honest and open and gave all the options to clean the mold affected area and suggested cost saving options and meet standard safe condition of storage area.I will recommend Tony Mayoral from Romexterra Restoration Chicago area for Mold problems.

We had water damage in the ceilings from ice dams and hired Romexterra as they said they could do the remediation and repair. I told them upfront I would be using my own painters and they said that was no problem. When it came time to quote the repair they came by and seemed annoyed I wasn't going to use them for painting but said they would get me a quote for the repair. They then disappeared for 2 weeks, didn't provide quote and when I followed up they told me they weren't interested in the work if they couldn't do the painting.I understand companies not wanting to take smaller jobs but good customer communication isn't hard especially when dealing with people going through stressful projects.I would look elsewhere for restoration services if you value good communication and prompt responses during your repairs.2 stars as the remediation team did a good job but half the job remains unfinished.

Mike came out same day, the day after one of Chicago’s most substantial rainfalls in the past year, to check on an area where we had water in our finished basement. Mike was prompt, thorough and most importantly honest, helpful and professional. While many companies would find something to fix or charge for, Mike reassured us that he cold tear apart our walls and go looking for damage, but there was not moisture present in the drywall and cabinets. He suggested a few areas on the outside to caulk to mitigate. We will definitely be calling them again if we have any issues in the future!

Unfortunately we had water in our basement around 8:30 in the evening. We contacted this company and spoke with Mike who was out there in a couple of hours. We then had their team of Randy and Victor G out there about an hour later to remove carpet and begin the process. I can't say enough how grateful we were for their quick response and walking us through the entire process.
