We love this place! We’ve been going to swim classes for a few months now and the teacher (Ms Shanta) is always the same and consistent and soo good with our daughter. Our daughter really looks forward to it!

I can’t say enough about this place. We put our daughter in another swim school, and there is a CLEAR difference between the two. The previous school basically let her learn at her own pace, and after about 6 months, she made little to no progress. She was still nervous and hesitant, scared to leave the steps and had high anxiety about going underwater. So, my husband and I decided to pull her. She just hit her 2 month mark here at Oak City, with a group of 3 others her age, and her instructor Kendall has FAR EXCEEDED any expectations we had; especially based on our previous experience. Our daughter is willingly dunking herself underwater, she non-reluctantly goes to Kendall to practice new skills and she was floating on her back, on her own, last week! I’m almost in tears every week, witnessing her progress. Kendall is amazing with them!The staff is great; great customer service, extremely helpful and they show a clear passion for what they do…and highly organized!

Oak City Swim School is our family’s third attempt at swim lessons for our daughters so I can say from experience that what this school offers blows all the others out of the water. After every class, the kids are noticeably more confident and skilled. It’s been a game changer in our family. The kids are wanting to go swimming and show off their new skills and are even confident enough to swim past the breakers at the beach with no life vests. Best of all, they are on top of water safety and I’m as confident in my kids as they are. This school gets results. The teachers and staff are knowledgeable and dedicated and it shows.

We have been attending Oak City Swim School since spring 2021 I believe. We love having this as a part of our routine since our kids were 6 months old. Jackie, the director, and Maria the office manager are both extremely helpful as you navigate classes and schedules. We went on vacation near a pool recently and both of my kids were such confident skilled swimmers - we are so happy with our experience here.

I love this swim school, especially the incredible coaching of Coach Alyson! She is so wonderful with the little kids and super patient but also is no nonsense! She makes my 3 year old laugh and smile every time. She is great with him if he's having a meltdown and just makes swimming fun! I'm so glad we found this spot!

My 4-year old son enjoys coming here every time he has swim lessons. He has had the same instructor every week, Jess, and she is amazing! All of the instructors here are also excellent and my son's comfort level and swim skills have really progressed well!

Clean, organized, good ambience. Parents can watch the kids take their classes. Teachers are focused and professional.
