I have been taking Pilates classes with Alissa for over five years. The classes always have some variety, so it’s not the same routine every week, and yet there is enough consistency in exercises that you can see your progress in strength and flexibility. I feel like these Pilates classes form a foundation for other types of exercises, so it is a key part of my fitness. On top of that, Alissa keeps the classes fun and friendly. She will give you notes if you need to adjust in some way while doing the exercises. She will take into account anything going on in your body, and recommend modifications if needed. I took a Pilates series with Alissa over Zoom. It's amazing how observant she can be for form over the video! I learned some really valuable exercises and they are now the 'core' of my core routine.
