2 words. Customer Service! Called Patrick at 2pm on Wednesday, asking about availability and with 0 advance notice - he made it work at 9pm ON THE SAME NIGHT for me. I hired a moving company for the first time instead of moving myself, and they kept changing things and it just didn't make sense nor did I feel confident about them moving me. Hire somebody who gives you a flat rate not per item they will make your life miserable and make your move harder than it needs to be. The complex that I was moving into said you need to hire somebody that's going to give you a flat rate I would call A1 Movers in Geneva Illinois. So I ate the $100 deposit from the previous movers and I called Patrick at A1 Movers in Geneva Illinois, and within a few minutes he gave me a flat rate quote and sent out four movers, who happened to be brothers. These guys were EXCELLENT, they had me out of my APARTMENT in under 90 minutes, and in my new apartment within an hour. These guys were kind, fast, and profession! l would highly recommend them. Patrick was amazing and so were his MOVERS. I highly recommended them, and would definitely use them again for future moves. They wrapped my FURNITURE, included in the flat rate even added an extra box for things that I didn't box and threw all my loose items in there. These guys were so good I can't say enough good things about them. Make sure to tip your movers. We used this company for our move and I can’t say enough good things about them! Their pricing was also reasonable/competitive! We did the full pack so they came in, in the morning packed up our entire 4 bedroom 3000 sq foot house including our shed etc, they emptied and packed cabinets/food/furniture/toys/closets etc and moved them it all to the new house. I was not expecting them to be so helpful. All the boxes were placed in the correct rooms, I was even asked how to set up the furniture placement etc and they would move it around how I wanted until I was happy. In addition a lot of the boxes were labeled with important things we’d want right away which was helpful like (family room - TV remote in here, lamps, hot wheels track haha). I was also surprised none of the food/condiments spilled everything was taped/packed really well. I assumed at some point there would be issues along the way but there were no issues, nothing missing and nothing broken. Everyone was very professional, nice and helpful, these guys were really great! I will also mention, I was hesitant about doing the full pack because I am a bit of a control freak and have high standards for service but it is probably easily the best money I’ve ever spent! They reached in time, sent some extra help which is really appreciated as we had to start on the same day for a 14.5 hrs drive. I needed a very heavy cast iron bathtub removed from a second-floor bathroom being remodeled. Unfortunately, the only route was down a narrow, rather steep staircase. On the day of our appointment, Patrick and his team arrived on time. Ten minutes later, the tub was sitting in the driveway (per my request), and I waved goodbye as they drove away.
