I love the fact that NY Dance has a focus on not only developing each child's dance skills, but also on ensuring the costumes, dance moves and music are all age appropriate. This was an important aspect for me in choosing a dance school for my daughter. Affordablility was also important and NY Dance offers that. My daughter is loving her classes and really looks forward to going each week.

My daughter attended here when she was 5 and is now 15 and attends here again. NY has been nothing but inclusive for her. She can enjoy dance without being competitive.

My kids have really enjoyed the move with you class with teacher Mrs Penny. It is a lot of fun. The class also caters for my younger child who is only 12months old. Thanks NY Dance.

My eleven year old son has recently started learning Hip Hop here and loves the classes. He has a couple of other boys in his class and there are several more learning to dance at the school. The school is extremely well managed and run very professionally. The school doesn't take part in the competitive dance Eisteffods ,which suits my son just fine. He took part in the end of the year performance show and the experience has really helped his self confidence.I am looking forward to brushing off my own tap and ballet shoes next year to join in some of the numerous adult classes , after a several years absence from dancing. There is a real inclusive , non judgemental and family vibe here and we were made really welcome from our first meeting with Natalie and Penny. When my daughter told me she wanted to do dance once she started school I was sceptical. I've seen dance mums, I've heard of the exorbitant costs of costumes and the competitions etc and my first thought was there is no way am I getting involved in that. Then my mum mentioned that a lady she used to dance with had a studio in Ipswich. So after a quick google search I knew this was the dance studio for us. With age appropriate dance, affordable prices and only an end of year concert PLUS the costumes are incorporated into the monthly cost I couldn't say no. We signed up and haven't looked back. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere my daughter is excited to go every week. If you are looking for an affordable, inclusive and fun dance studio without the extra costs then NY Dance is for you.
