We had a longstanding water intrusion issue with our exterior basement stairwell — the old drain was just a dry gravel pit that would back up during heavy rain and leak into the basement near our sump pump. Thompson and Sons came in and resolved it: they installed a proper drain at the base of the stairwell and put in a new sump pump, all within a few hours.The process was smooth and efficient from start to finish — clear communication, tidy work, and no surprises. Matthew was prompt and immediately revealed to me what my eyes did not see outside my home a small hole in the ground between the wall and my fence post where water was coming into my home. He recommended liquid cement to repair the job and did not charge me an inspection fee or any other kind of visit fee. I am thankful for his honesty and professionalism.
