Went to their office to update a Trust we had done in California. It was outdated so we drew up a Trust with Gary Fales. The trust was inclusive of everything. We had to enter financial accounts, our home, insurance policy info, other personal info that would be needed in the event of our deaths. When we got that info ready, his office will be updating our Trust with that info. We pay an annual fee so we can keep the Trust updated with changes of federal and state law changes. After the last legislative session there were changes to be made. We went to his office to sign paperwork to be updated in our Trust. Changes to our Trust are done when we ask for them and we have to sign the paperwork for those changes. Any question we have can be directed to Gary if his Associates for answers which we get after the research, if any, is done. We get very quick responses for those questions. After a recent state law change, I was adjed to come to the office to initial and sign the documents which contained changes to our powers of attorney for medical Issues. After I signed those documents, I had a video conference with other caregivers who have family member suffering with various forms of dementia. At this session, there were 3 of us who had lost a family member recently. There were a lot of what if questions. Most directed to the 3 of us. We talked about legal things that needed to be done for their own protection. We talked about Trust updates and I told the group about Gary and what they just did for me. Everyone was taking notes. Some asked who I was using for my Trust and I gave them his address because of what Gary and Associates did for me. Also, discussed pre-planning for death expenses. There are some legal issues there as well. With my limited knowledge, I was able to direct them to the correct professional to help them as I had Gary and Associates and an Elder Care lawyer who was helping with some care issues I had. No offense to Gary etal but lawyers do have specialties. Gary etal I would recommend for Trusts; the Elder Care lawyer fir those issues.
