My GF treated me to massage with Josh as part of a birthday present. I had a recent knee injury that I sustained during a long run. She mentioned to me that one of her co-workers who also runs has been treated by Josh and experienced great results. Turns out that I shared the same experience! By the next day I was able to run for 5 minutes without interruption. Two days later I completed a full conditioning workout that included running, rowing, and the assault bike. I would definitely recommend Josh for any type of body work.

Josh was highly recommended to me by a wonderful practitioner I know, and I see why! I’ve seen Josh for trigger point therapy for a mysterious shoulder pain and mobility issue. He helped me get to the root cause and each session helped increasingly, taking care of the issue almost completely after each session.It’s worth noting that due to some past trauma, I was avoiding receiving bodywork like this for several years. Working with Josh has felt very comfortable, professional, and compassionate. He’s intuitive, communication is always flowing, and he seems naturally aware of how to hold space for those experiencing PTSD or the like. Our sessions helped me identify how trauma could be showing up in the body /relating to physical pains.I’ve tried SO many modalities over the course of my life (I have a background myself in movement therapies) and I feel like trigger point is helping me draw new conclusions and education.I’m super glad I found this place and can add it into my (physical and mental!) healing journeys!

My mom and I have been going to Sacramento massage and trigger point therapy for a couple of years or more. I don’t have the opportunity to go as often as I’d like, but my mom goes monthly. Joshua is professional and his office is very clean. We love going to him. We always feel much better after our appointments and feel like he is helping us to feel better overall.
