If you are looking for a place to get your SMP done - this is the one. Do your research, but you will find that Renata is a world-class talent and among the best SMP artists in North America.I looked at many different places and was really worried about proceeding due to fear of a botched procedure. Afterall, it's on your head and the human eye is so quick to spot an unnatural look/pattern. I also don't have any tattoos either and initially thought it'd be crazy to get the first one on top of my head. There are many bad examples of SMP online and I just didn't want to end up with something that looked unnatural or funny. After looking at all the places, slowly I started narrowing it down and I found Renata.I had my initial call with Eric (her colleague) who answered some unanswered questions online and put my mind at ease for all the concerns I had. After that I connected with Renata and she made herself available to answer any questions I had at pretty much any time I had them - she was answering questions even at 10pm. Based on my conversations with her, my comfort level skyrocketed and I was really looking forward to getting the procedure done. I booked the appointment, I put 50% down up-front and started the first session in December, 2025.The studio is very clean, Renata worked in the dentistry space for years before starting SMP so her hygiene protocols are excellent. As mentioned, I never had a tattoo done before so wasn't sure what to expect in terms of pain. I read a lot about this online and the reviews are everything from low/no pain to somewhat painful. I personally found the pain to be medium to high. I actually didn't expect it to hurt this much, but the pain is only there during the procedure and only in the place being worked on. Once the procedure was done, which lasted about 2 hrs (with a break), for me the pain was completely gone. I had some redness visible in areas where I didn't have hair anymore - mainly around the edges of my hairline. This redness, to my surprise, was pretty much gone the next day. The whole process requires 3 procedures, 2 longer ones and one touch-up. After the first session, the results were SPECTACULAR. My hairline didn't look this good even when I was in my 20s, but it still looked very natural. The second session was a couple of weeks after, and it really provided more density that made everything look even more natural. By the time I got to the third session, which was mid-Jan, it was just a bit of touchup on the hairline and a bit more density on the crown.The overall experience was phenomenal. I feel great about the way I look - I was pretty self-conscious about people looking at the back of my head before and now all that is gone. I can't recommend Renata enough.Thanks for everything Renata - I'll see you again in a few years for a touchup ;).

I had a faded SMP from about 9 years ago that never quite looked right and wanted it fixed properly. After finishing my third session, I’m really happy with the result. The hairline looks natural, the density is spot on, and it suits my face really well.Renata clearly knows her craft. Professional, detail-oriented, and a great experience overall. She’ll be the only artist I trust for future touch-ups to maintain this work. Highly recommend.

I waited over 7 years to finally do something about my hairline. After meeting Renata the only thing I could think was “why didn’t I do this sooner?”. Renata calmly took her time and used her own expertise along side with what I was personally looking for in terms of shape and height. She will give you the confidence you are looking for before ink even touches the needle and is very gentle, as well as making sure you are comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. Don’t take a chance with anyone else and take the safe option. Go with Renata :)

I had an amazing experience at Scalp Amplified Studios and I am very happy with the results. The studio is very clean, modern and offers free parking. Renata is the "Real Deal" and a true master of her craft when it comes to SMP. She is easy to talk to and super knowledgeable. As someone who has had tattoo removal, I can assure you that in comparison, SMP doesn't even make it onto the pain factor scale. If you are considering SMP, this place should be at the top of your list.
