I have been training at Kickboxing Aj’s for almost six months, and my daughter has been attending since March 2025. I am extremely happy with this place — every training session teaches me new skills, and kickboxing has truly become my passion. The atmosphere is welcoming, motivating, and supportive, and every trainer puts tremendous effort into teaching and helping each student improve. Training here has also made me much more disciplined and focused in my daily life, which I really appreciate.My daughter absolutely loves this sport. She looks forward to every class, has learned so much, and gained confidence along the way. The coaches are patient, professional, and genuinely care about each student’s progress. Great gym with a good atmosphere. The coaches are excellent, always friendly, encouraging and knowledgeable, and the equipment is solid.The only area that could improve is the membership terms, which would benefit from more flexibility. Having the option to pause a membership instead of cancelling when away for a period of time would make the experience even better

It’s been a tough year for me personally but through it all AJ’s has honestly been the biggest blessing.Chris and his team have not only created a successful gym but a second home. Absolutely loving it. Great people. Great clean gym - fully equipped. They even have a coffee machine! I've started few months ago a bit stiff, have to admit :) Lots of hard work, internal battle and persistence and every training gets better and better. Coaches are great and they are with you all the way. Doesn't mean they hold your hand (i am sure they would if you need it), they make sure you really make progress and grow - they are watching - no place for cheating :) There is plenty of worm - up - so you your body is ready, then technique to build you up - the rest is yours. Plenty of fun and laugh all the way. First Lesson Free. Doesn't matter if you are Tall, small, skinny or fat - we can all meet together on the mat !!:)

We have so much fun learning a new skill, self confidence and self defence. It’s much more fun than just going to the gym, and the time flies by so quickly! My son & daughter both train at AJ’s. My daughter has been training for nearly 3 years and the confidence she has developed in that time is superb, as well as gaining valuable kickboxing skills. My son has been training for 6 years & has just gained his 3rd brown belt ready for his black belt next year and is also part of the fight team with a few fights under his belt. He has developed massively thanks to Chris & the other instructors & is very confident. Both my children look forward to every class and PT session. If you’re looking for a martial arts school that commands discipline from all of its students but makes every class engaging for every student then get yourselves to AJ’s

I have been at A’J Kickboxing Academy for nearly 2 years and I love every session I attend! During my first session I was welcomed with open arms and given 1-1 support and how to get the basic moves correct before moving forward. Every trainer is friendly, helpful and are always there for support you. We all have a great time training and AJ’s always has some fun activities organised for outside the gym too. Training here has helped me gain confidence, improve my fitness levels and made some friends along the way. 100% recommend AJ’s!

AJs is a great place to train. Everyone is friendly, the coaches are really helpful and you can go for belts / spar if you'd like, so I found it easy to set goals and practice. The training space is great, with kit available so if you've never kickboxed before, you can still come and try it out.I've had a great experience here and highly recommend you give it a go.
