I received the service of Brown Septic almost four years ago. I am reviewing because I see their rating, pand I have a hard time believing it. I was so dissatisfied. We were told we were getting one septic tank but at the last minute told they only had a two tank system to put in, which was better. I’ve been told by other companies that is worse to do. I was also charged extra to buy dirt to fill in the trench and tank area better. The trench under our fence/gate was filled in so poorly that when it rained our dog got out and was missing for 3.5 months. The ground around our septic tank covers is the most UNlevel part of our yard. They told us to flag where our sprinkler system line runs. My husband did that, but they still broke our sprinkler pipes, water pipes to outside faucets, and an electrical line to an outdoor area. We have spent thousands fixing their damage. When I expressed my frustrations, they canceled my service contract. I would definitely choose another company.

I had not had any issues with my septic system, then they come to do an inspection and within less than 24 hours all my toilets were having issues flushing and water started backing up into my shower. Less than 48 hours later sewage was backing up into my shower.They say there is nothing they could have done to cause it, but I do not believe in coincidences, and that happening right after someone “inspected” my system, it is very concerning.Then they come, pump the system and that still does not solve the issue and they want to charge an extra $350 to fix it.
