Used to be good, but the past few years have been a highly unprofessional experience. After a tax audit from a year when this preparer made clear calculation errors regarding my bond earnings I requested to see the math before any amended return was submitted, and he refused to provide it.Despite my explicit written instruction via email not to file the return until the numbers were explained and approved, he went ahead and submitted it against my express consent. I now have email proof of him acknowledging my instructions and filing anyway. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a competent, communicative tax professional who will let you know and understand what is going on with your situation.

I have been using Dan for my taxes for the past 2 years and I am extremely impressed and satisfied with his service. I had been using a different accountant for 6 years, and I would get contacted by the IRS about mistakes yearly, so I finally decided to make a change. Dan does exceptional work, he is always quick to reply to any questions I have, extremely quick turnaround time, and affordable. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an accountant.

Dan is very matter of fact and to the point. No fluff just gets down to business. Can easily send all necessary files via confidential portal. Lots better than snail mailing a ton of docs.Looks for and find all deductions as far as I can tell, but who can really say for sure given our current tax system?
