Authenticity. It's so obvious that Max and Kimi are experienced RV owners and users. They've found something that they're passionate about and have made it their business to share their experience with RV buyers so that we can all have successful camping trips. Even several days after we left with our new (used) RV, they have followed up to make sure that we remembered all the tips from the walk through and they have held up to their promises, like tracking down a new arm rest for us! And Kimi patiently explained how our warranty works to help us make the best choice. We truly felt set up for success after we drove off! We took the train 6 hours just to pick up our RV from them and we would do it again.

My husband and I wanted a used motorhome, and had our eye on one at HWY 1 RV. What we found were amazing owners to work with. From the Very first day we walked into HWY 1 RV Max & Kimi could not have been more welcoming and gracious. We have never owned an RV before and had LOTS of questions! When Max realized we had never owned/driven and RV before he took us out for a "lesson'. Max was extremely patient and calm while teaching us the correct way to drive a big RV!! Now we have MORE QUESTIONS!! When we left that day, they did not press us for a decision or a deposit. We spent the next two months talking with them about all our questions (they always made time). When we finally made our decision to purchase, we drove up to take delivery. We were surprised by a table full of presents for us! Pumps, hoses, plates, cups and even toilet paper for our newly purchased RV. Things we didn't even know we needed!! They didn't miss anything. The paperwork process was smooth and easy, and we were ready to drive our RV home. Max sensed our anxiety and took us out for another "lesson" before releasing us on our own. Our drive home was about 150 miles so Max & Kimi requested that we text them when we arrived home safely! Max & Kimi are two of the nicest people we have ever met. HWY 1 RV is the place to go when looking for an RV. We will surely recommend them to all our friends and family. You won't be disappointed.

What a pleasant car buying experience! I’m almost 70 years old (WHAT!!!???). So, it’s safe to say that over those years I have purchased my fair share of vehicles. If you are anything like me, you would rather get a root canal than deal with those pushy salespeople who really don’t have YOUR best interests at heart. They shamelessly push and push trying to get you to buy their product THAT DAY until you get to the point where you almost feel like you have to make a jail break to get out of there.Not so with HWY 1 RV and Max and Kimi. They actually took the time to learn what I needed in a vehicle and then took the time and made the effort to deliver just the right one in a timely manner!Remember all those awful experiences you had with the finance/closer person at the conclusion of your purchase. Remember the pressure they put on you? Not with HWY 1 RV! My wife and I actually had fun during that process and were made to feel quite comfortable.I can’t recommend HWY 1 RV in strong enough terms. He actually took time out of his busy day to make sure we figured out our problem. He was very thorough and patient. Just bought our first RV at HWY 1 RV, I just want to say small town dealers that have been in business for many years are who you should prefer to deal with. Sales person Max went above and beyond for our little family. Max was very knowledgeable and calmly communicated with me throughout the process. Not once did Max say “trust me “ like your typical salesman, he provided me with answers to all my questions, when it came down to signing the contract Kimi was very welcoming and ensured I understood everything. Overall best price, best customer service, and best experience 10 out of 10. We had a 3 hour drive back home and both Kimi and Max messaged me to ensure we made it home safe. Best RV buying experience.

Kimi and Max both go above and beyond ! Their attention to detail assures a smooth transition for the buyer.. Kimi handled several challenges getting the fianancing through teaching me along the way and getting the approval. Max took care to replace parts that had been used and sent the new parts to our home. He even provided a hydraulic jack to upgrade the rig at no charge. ( we did not even ask for that). I would buy from them again, anytime except for that we ‘re so happy with what we purchased, we won’t be needing another RV in this lifetime!

The Central Coast finally has a much needed RV place with great customer service and fair prices. Hwy 1 RV in Santa Maria, with Max and Kimi is amazing. They had a Pleasure Way Plateau that was perfect for what we were looking for. Kimi handled all the finance details and Max gave me a thorough walkthrough, no question unanswered. Their knowledge of RVs and the business of buying them was a breath of fresh air in these parts. I was also invited to call them any time with questions, which I have used numerous times already. Selling a car is tough and a very frustrating, time consuming experience. Trying to sell an RV is a multiple of 10X, the worse parts of selling a car. I checked out 7 different RV resellers spanning from Santa Maria to Paso Robles. I was ready to push it off a cliff when I met Max and his wonderful wife. This was the best experience selling anything in my entire 65 years on earth! Everything went exactly as he promised. He treated us and our 6 figure RV so well, we would have purchased one, if we were in the market for another one. I would highly recommend HWY 1 RV if you are looking to sell your RV, upgrade, or make repairs. I cannot recommend any of our local RV repair centers. They take far too long, pride of workmanship is far behind HWY 1, customer service is light years behind what Max and his wife provide. This business and its owners is truly what our area, our state, and our country needs more of. FANTASTIC! AAA RESULTS!

They didn’t just sell us the vehicle and wave goodbye. They called us the next day to see if we had concerns. They were available by phone and text to answer questions when these two old technological troglodytes were stumped trying to figure how to set the electronic systems and make things work, despite an excellent video and guidebook. They even drove to our hometown and spent an hour going over the details with us and didn’t leave until we had it down. I’m sure we’re not even close to being competent in everything yet, but we have them on speed dial and know they will help us as long as we need them for things we can’t figure out ourselves. I cannot say enough about HYW 1 RV, we had a wonderful experience from the start. This was my first time purchasing an RV. Max and Kimi guided me until I felt comfortable and safe with my new van.
