Wow, where do I even begin?The team that helped us through our home-buying journey was absolutely incredible, and I genuinely can't recommend them enough.I first reached out to Anthony Alzate several months before we were ready to buy. A friend had referred me to him, and I reached out to get an idea of what we needed to do to prepare. It took us a few months to get our ducks in a row, but when we were finally ready to start the process, Anthony was the very first person I called.As first time homebuyers, we initially planned to work with a realtor. However, life had other plans, and a For Sale By Owner opportunity came up that was too good to pass up. The owner would not pay for our realtor fees, which we had planned on including on all our offers, so we had a decision to make... We decided to move forward without a realtor, even though soooo many of our friends and family members were telling us that it wasn't something first time buyers should do. Looking back, I can honestly say we couldn't have done it without Anthony and his team.Early in the process, we were introduced to Brandon Mansilla Derqui, who helped us navigate pre-approval, rates, and all the financial details. My husband and I had several conversations with both Anthony and Brandon, and no matter how many questions we asked, they always took the time to answer them thoroughly. They explained everything in a way that made sense and never made us feel like we were asking too much. Going through purchasing a home without a realtor was extremely intimidating, but they helped break down every step and continued to give us the confidence to move forward.Once we were under contract, we were introduced to Angelica McPherson, who guided us through the underwriting process. Angelica was fantastic. She kept us organized, helped us gather everything we needed, and made sure we understood what was happening every step of the way.To be completely honest, I was a massive bundle of nerves during the appraisal and underwriting stages. I'm sure like many first time buyers, I made the mistake of turning to Google for answers, which only made me more anxious. Angelica was always there to reassure me and remind me that I could simply reach out to the team whenever I had questions, and trust me, I had a lot of them. She was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process.We closed in about 30 days, and throughout that time the communication was great. There were rarely more than a day or two between conversations, and whenever we reached out, someone was quick to respond. Whether it was Anthony, Brandon, or Angelica, everyone always made us feel like a priority and helped ease the stress that naturally comes with buying a home.While I sincerely hope I don't have to go through the home buying process again anytime soon, if I ever do, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to call Anthony, Brandon, and Angelica. Their expertise, responsiveness, and genuine care made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable from start to finish.If you're looking for a team that will guide you, educate you, advocate for you, and be there when you need them most, I highly recommend working with them.Anthony, Brandon, and Angelica, seriously, I can't thank you all enough!
