In April of 2025 I decided to try Heckel after receiving a door-to-door solicitation from one of their representatives. I purchased the $400 Lawn Care & Fertilization 6-Step Program, which promised:-ONE core aeration, and-SIX fertilizer and weed control treatments.APRIL 9, 2025I received the core aeration service.JUNE 9, 2025I called to ask when the FIRST fertilizer/weed control application would take place, and received it that day.AUGUST 13, 2025I called to ask when the SECOND fertilizer/weed control application would take place, and received it that day.I also asked if I was supposed to remind them to come out in the future and was told, "No, you're set up on a rotation in our system."That was the last time I called.SEPTEMBER 10, 2025I received the THIRD fertilizer/weed control application.After that... nothing.I didn't call again because I didn't think that it would be necessary. Hindsight is, as the cliche goes, 20/20.I won't go into detail about it, but there was also a minor issue at the outset having to do with billing. It wasn't caused from anything I had done or not done, but was rather an issue on their part.I have no idea why my service came up short, especially after reading the many 5-star reviews, but this experience has taught me to never pay in full up front.I'm giving two stars because the look of my yard did improve.

Amazing job!!!! Never thought I would get rid of my tree until Heckel Vegetation showed up. They came and left, like nothing happened! They were fast, professional amd efficient. Can't even tell there was a tree there!

Heckle does a supreme job at cutting down grass, weeds, and the weeds in the asphalt!! Yes I said the weeds in the asphalt. They went way beyond my expectations. Keep up the incredible work you are doing!!!!

We had an excellent experience with Heckel Vegetation Maintenance! With all the recent rain, our 5+ acre homestead had become too much for us to manage on our own. Jimmy and his crew tackled it with efficiency and care. They came out to give us a bid and had the job scheduled and completed the very next week. They mowed and weed-eated the entire property—including a rough, hard-to-mow section—with ease. The crew was kind, professional, and communicated their process clearly throughout. Couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend!

They did a tremendous job. Removed a stump in the front yard, trimmed trees in the back, and treated the lawn. They also were able to get Xcel to come out and remove the limbs from the power lines in a very timely manner. We are very satisfied with their work. Highly recommended.
