After a PRV failure in my crawl space, Sergio, Jonah and Carter came in and got rid of all the wet insulation. They made a containment corridor, floor to bottom, with plastic sheeting. Fans and a dehumidifier were placed and ran for well over a week.Unfortunately there were several estimators involved, both on the insurance company’s side and Dryworkx’ side. That lead to some real confusion to the tune of $7,000. Finally, Kallie from Dryworkx took the bull by the horns and got things sorted. We had an unfortunate plumbing failure in our master shower drain in that the drainage piping failed and several gallons shower drain water flooded below our into the crawlspace below our house. Our home is one story with no basement, but just a crawlspace underneath. The plumber we had in to deal with the plumbing issues recommended we contact Dryworx to mitigate and eliminate the standing water that resulted in our crawlspace below the house. We called Dryworx and they responded within hours to address, mitigate and eliminate the water pooled in the crawlspace and to treat the soil underneath with lime, replace all the plastic waterproof tarp, and place in the crawlspace de-humidifiers and fans to fully dry the area underneath to prevent any possibility of mold-generating moisture, and Dryworx used sensors directly into the exposed wood floor joist in the crawlspace to ensure achieving the requied level of drying to also prevent any opportunity for mold. We were so impressed by the careful and complete manner which Druworx had its team of of Micah, Sheldon, Isaiah, & Emanuel come in and carefully lay down floor covering and protection across our hardwood floors, then go about their work in removing the water, placing the drying equipment, removing/replacing the hevy plastic tarps, and monitoring the moisture levels with electronic sensors, doing a really great job in restoring our crawlspace to normal again. We are very appreciative of their work and their reasonable rates for this type of demanding water damage mitigation and their clear expertise. We had some substantial water intrusion in our crawl space from a broken water main. I wasn't sure what to do with the standing water and potentially damaged framing materials. But my plumber gave me the number for Dryworx, and I'm glad he did. Their crew was out the same day surveying the damage. They pumped out standing water, and began taking humidity readings of the soil and wood framing. They set up humidifiers right away and temporarily removed some plywood off my shop floor so it could dry. About three days later everything was pretty well back to normal. Dryworx Water Damage Restoration came to our rescue last September & October. A pipe under our house broke during the winter storm of January 2024. However, we didn't know that a slow but steady leak had continued from January until late August. Once discovered, we got a plumber out who fixed the broken pipe, but also alerted us with the news we had a major mold and vermine situation going on under our house. We contacted Dryworx and the next day they sent Tim to inspect and assess the damage. Over the next few weeks, Dryworx removed all the damaged insulation, treated and removed the mold, helped rid the vermine from under our house, dried all the soil and replaced the insulation. Your floors get pulled up, your kitchen dismantled, loud driers and dehumidifiers rattle your nerves. Just when you think you can’t take it anymore, in walks Harold Kaski. I seriously doubted my ability to survive this process without him guiding and smoothing the repairs to my humble abode. He general contracted the new floors, paint and trim as well as the insulation in the crawl space. He went extra-extra to get me through to having my home restored to a comfortable place. Our kitchen flooded, damaging the floor and ceramic tiles and the sheetrock behind the stove and lower kitchen cabinets. A total area of about 20 feet by 4 feet was severely damaged and had to be replaced, including the floor and walls, which required removal of the sink, dishwasher, stove and lower cabinets. I received a reference from the plumber who found and repaired the leaking pipe. Dryworx responded quickly and came out to assess the damage, traveling considerable distance from their offices to do so. This was the first homeowner's claim I have ever submitted and being with the same insurer for over 25 years, I thought the claim would go quickly. I was wrong! Initially the insurer denied the claim. However, after Dryworx gathered together information, including photos of the damage and the plumber's report, the insurer accepted liability. Once this was achieved, and it took six weeks before insurance approval, Dryworx began by ripping out the damaged areas, removing the cabinets and drying the surrounding timbers and joists. Dryworx then did an incredible job of coordinating the restoration work, including replacing the subfloor insulation, the floor, sheetrock, tile, plumbing connections and cabinets in an excellent manner. The floor and kitchen are beautiful again and I am impressed by the great communication and professional attidude of all of Dryworx' employees and their subcontractors. We needed their help, from start to finish, and Dryworx advanced our claim with the insurance company, and completed the process in an excellent manner.
