I gave Thalis and Active Fence five stars only because there are no more stars to give. Thalis was a joy to work with. He was a great communicator, keeping us informed every step of the way through the process. From the time we decided to go with Active Fence the whole process took less than two weeks. After looking at my fence and giving me a price, which I thought was fair, I decided to just get an estimate to redo my entire fence with vinyl and the lake bank in black aluminum.Thalis, came back with a quote after measuring and doing a sketch of the property. To my surprise the quote, I got was very reasonable and I did not feel like I was dealing with a fence company who tries to take advantage of their customers. Thalis spoke with me at length about the benefits of going to vinyl and then walked the property with me to show me what I could expect. Thalis also explained in the long run how would save money by not having the yearly upkeep of staining the fence (which I usually did by hand; taking approximately a week and $500 worth of stain) or having to deal with mother nature deteriorating the fence and carpenter bees burrowing into it as well.Thalis stated he could start the job in a matter of a few days. Thalis showed up day one with a bright smile on his face asking if I was ready to get an amazing fence. My entire job took approximately 3 1/2 days to complete and during that time Thalis answered any and every question, I raised concerning the project. For a one man operation, Thalis is incredibly efficient and gets the job done quickly and treats it as if it's his own fence he's putting up. At the end of every workday, Thalis walked the project before he left and made sure the property was kept in a clean and organized manner.I would highly recommend "Active Fence" to anyone looking to not be taken advantage of. It was great having an owner who truly cares about his customers and the quality of his work once the job is complete. Main reasoning being, the quote was better and after spending some time with Thalis, I could tell he was going to do a great job. The installation process was quick and easy. At least from my perspective, Thalis may have a slightly different story due to part of my yard that has a tough hill that we had to install the fence on. He handled it like a champ though! The materials were dropped off the day prior and work began promptly the following morning. The whole yard was fenced that same day, which happened to be a Friday, so we were able to enjoy are nice new fenced in backyard that weekend.
