Can I give this more than 5 stars?! We were in need of a night time sitter for my mother in law, who recently moved into memory care after a stay at the hospital. A referral led us to Schwartz Home Care, and to Jennifer, who helped facilitate the whole thing. She set us up with Marielle, a nurse in training, who looked after my husband’s mom and made sure she stayed safe at night, when a facility’s staff can’t always have eyes on her. It’s not glamorous work by any means, getting her to the bathroom safely, cleaning her up after accidents, etc. but so very important and appreciated by the family that loves her, and wants to see her taken well care of.Communication was always top notch, as Marielle would text my husband with updates in the morning, and provide us with valuable information as to the care being provided by the facility. This in turn, helped us to communicate much more effectively with the nursing staff and advocate on her behalf.I can tell Marielle really cared about the well being of this sweet woman she was tasked to watch over.The comfort and reassurance Schwartz Home Care provided in this unsettling time for us has been priceless.
